I'll start off by saying that Jupiter donuts are the best in my opinion.... My husband has gotton donuts from other places and they are never quite as good as Jupiters. With that being said, their customer service needs a bit of improvement. Usually when I call to place an order, I order quite a few of my favorite donuts, which I freeze and take out as needed. I hadn't ordered for awhile and called this morning and talked to Kathy who took my order. I politely asked how many donuts of each one that I wanted did they have available and she told me . So I said each time I'll take those and also asked if she could make more. I did not have an issue with making a decision of what donuts I wanted. She was fairly polite on the phone and did even offer to make me a few extra donuts fresh, which I appreciated, but did mention that she had other customers coming in and was getting busy...and she sounded like she was getting a bit flustered ......so when my husband went in to pick up my order and asked for my name...she said...oh ya that's that woman who couldn't make up her mind about her order and kept adding and adding......ummm....yes...he heard you. It surprised him, he didn't know what to think. He told me when he got home which aggravated me. I felt it to be a rude comment for no apparent reason. Yes, I ordered a bunch of donuts, yes I gave you business and am keeping you in a job and no I didn't have an issue deciding what donuts I wanted.....I had my order written down already and knew exactly what to ask for..... The next time you are taking an order, try to remember not to bad mouth a customer while they are standing right there in front of you......and, if you absolutely cannot help yourself,.......at least wait till they are gone so they can't hear you!! Also, in case you didn't know....It's free to be kind and the comment was unwarranted.....this is your job.....Regardless of whether you are having a good day, a busy day or a bad day you are there to serve donuts and take care of customers, regardless of the order size, big or small. I still recommend Jupiter in spite of this one incident. But, this was not acceptable, and was extremely rude and uncalled for. If she makes comments like this every time someone comes in to pick up an order. I doubt they'll have any...
Read moreWarm and welcoming, this is everything you hope to experience at a baked goods shoppe. Upon entering, my senses were immediately awakened by the gently spiced aroma that lingered in the air. All the design elements rival those featured on the cover of a top rated magazine. The attention to detail result in the creation of a smooth transitional space, away from the hustle and bustle of the world beyond the doors. At first glance you may admire the obvious quality and artistry of the baker. As you look a little closer, you realize there are several mysterious, original confections that are looking quite delicious! Creativity flows naturally, right along side all the classics. They offer a wide variety of freshly baked pastries, muffins, donuts and more. I was impressed with Bree, the young lady who filled our order. She was extremely helpful and descriptive when pointing out the numerous original flavors that are available. I applaud the pace she maintained when filling our order. She used her wealth of product knowledge and ability to actively listen to her customer to ensure we made the right selections. We highly recommend this location for eat in, take home and...

As lovers of Donuts, Roguetrippers were eager to take part in the Butler County Donut Trail on a recent visit to Ohio. Our very first stop on the trail was Jupiter Coffee and Donuts. Upon arrival, we have to admit, we were not impressed and our expectations were not very high. This place did not look amazing from the outside - it looked kind of unassuming and easy to miss.
"Never Judge a Book By its cover"
Inside we were greeted by the sight of many amazing looking donuts in the display case. My eyes gravitated right to the Lemon Meringue, and I had made my choice. There were many other amazing flavours that I wanted but I don't need 40 donuts.
I purchased my donut and a nice coffee.
The place is cute on the inside. There is ample parking outside. The service is good, but most importantly - the doughnuts are amazing.
The Lemon meringue was so good, I was tempted to go back to get more. The banana cream pie was quite delightful.
We are glad to have acquired our first stamp on the Butler COunty Donut...
