Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Fairfield

Food is good for what you pay for it. The staff at this location honestly seems like they do not have a clue about much. The first occasion we got there when they opened. Pizzas were fresh. But the drink fountain was running clear- meaning the syrups needed change. We paid for drinks and asked for them to change it multiple times and just gave up. I requested a refund- 5 drinks at almost $2 a piece is substantial enough for a refund in my opinion, other wise I wouldn't really mind. Asked for a refund and we paid for a card so the manager kept saying she couldn't do it. No reason why, she just couldn't do it? Same thing happened the last time we were there when she charged us for three buffets instead of two. She told us the total and she swiped the card before I could get a word out. Again no big deal but requested a refund. And she couldn't do it. Both times were resolved by my card being charged the original amount. Then fully refunded. and recharged again. Just seems like a complicated situation for something so simple and I'm not a huge fan of my card being changed...

This is my first time in Cici's pizza buffet of Ohio. We came around 12:15pm and it wasn't busy. We got helped right away. Prices are reasonable for kids and adults. Tried the pepperoni pizza and the garlic cheese sticks with their marinera sauce. They were okay, not bad but not great either. The pepperoni pizza wasn't fresh. I don't know how long its been sitting under the light. My kids got fresh cheese pizza and they are demolishing it. The atmosphere is good too. The booths need some work. They seem like they're coming apart. The table we decided to sit at was wobbly but it was the only one that I was able to comfortably put my son's carseat with him in it. While we're here eating, some of the staff are wiping down tables and chairs with some strong cleaning chemical agents. Don't get me wrong, it's a great thing to know they're detailed; however, the smell of the food and the cleaning supplies is odd & confusing to my sense of smell and taste. (May just be me.) I usually pick up my order, but today I tried delivery because i would not clock out of work in time. I ordered a giant cheese pizza, medium pepperoni, cinnamon rolls and brownies. My order arrived around 8:45pm like it said, but I was missing the medium pepperoni. I let the driver know and he said thats all they gave him and to call the store. I call the store and whatever young lady i spoke to was not trying to resolve the issue but argue and say she remembers the driver and handing him 4 boxes and that she doesn’t know what to tell me. Im sorry but I’m not paying and tipping for an order not fulfilled. So i ask for a manager and she said they close in 10 minutes if i want the missing item. I had to clock out of work early to get up there to grab my missing item to feed my family and at NO point was i offered an apology or a way to make up for the mistake and i’m disappointed because i always spend $40 or better every...
