Date: Sunday 5/9/21 @ 12pm Location: Fairfield CA Event: work (lunch) Cost: $46.44 Result: FAIL Details: I'm from TX working in CA and this pizza place wouldn't survive a single month down south. From the moment my order was taken I knew there would be issues but this place needs new management. 90 minute delivery time and a price tag equivalent to a fancy restaurant cost for one person in Texas. The driver said he called 7 times and my phone wasn't working however he didn't even have my number correct. They actually had 3 different # for me and only the one on the receipt was correct. My pizza arrived with no extra parmesan cheese no crushed red pepper even yet the driver said there was some in the bag. The pizza was okay the salad was terrible the 20 oz Pepsi for $3 is ridiculous. Not to mention the pizza which was $26.75 on its own was a complete rip-off. I usually don't spend so much time on a review but this place is so terrible I would believe every negative review you read about this place and avoid it at all costs. This place is beyond terrible and every manager in this place needs to be fired. I cannot believe this place actually survived covid. Mary's Pizza Shack......DO BETTER!! Guess that's California for you. More prof that this...
Read moreWe've continued to go to Mary's and it's been good. Tonight we wanted good pizza, and we're sadly disappointed. We don't usually order on the weekends, but pizza sounded good. It wasn't up to Mary's standered, burnt crust, not sure what to say about the toppings. Look like they were the bottom of the barrel. Most of the time the food is good.
I'm sorry to I was very disappointed in our lunch today, meatball sandwiches & fries. It's been a while since I ordered that at Mary's. The fries were over cooked so by the time we got home they were very hard and cold. I remembered their MB Sandwiches as 3 regular sized meatballs on a toasted roll, as in an actual sandwich. This was served 1 large meatball ( on each side) of the bread they use for garlic bread. Open faced. So the crust was so hard I had a difficult time cutting it with a steak knife, while the inside was soft and soggy. For some reason the entire thing had little flavor, it smelled good. Unfortunately that was It's only...

The menu is fun, generous, and the food has a definite northern California flair--fresh, not stuffy. Word has it that dine-in portions are generous, while to-go orders can be skimpy.
This location is family friendly, cozy, and the staff is friendly and seem to move with a purpose. A favorite with the locals. It is part of a local chain, though this location has been around and for at least two decades--I think that speaks to the quality of the food and service.
June 2022 Update: Stopped here again as we do every summer. Nothing has changed--food is still delicious and our favorites are still available, though I feel it's gotten more expensive.
Had a delicious cauliflower crust veggie pizza to reduce my carbs: thin, crunchy, yet pleasantly doughy, like a good flour crust. I'd definitely...
