Let me start by stating how much I actually enjoy Pizza Hut. I prefer Pizza Hut pizza over most any other pizza. I've always been a fan and it was always my go-to. With that being said, I will no longer be ordering from the Pleasant Avenue store.
The last six orders I have placed over the past few months, 4 have been delivered incorrectly. Typically toppings are left off, on occasion some added (sometimes they're even things I like). The last time and the reason for this extensive review is because tonight we ordered 3 pizzas, a box of cheese sticks and wings. We received our wings and cheese sticks, however the delivery man only had two pizzas. We then opened those pizzas up and realized that they were made incorrect.
I called the store and was both of us were very polite in the beginning of our conversation. I even indicated that I did not want a discount nor a credit, that I simply wanted what we paid for. She put me on hold to print out the ticket. The manager comes back to the phone says they will remake the whole order and pick up the incorrect stuff. To me this was a perfectly acceptable response.
I then speak out past experiences and just wanted to make her aware of those situations in case she was new to that location. Unfortunately, this is where things take downward spiral. The manager, after listening to my complaint proceeds to assure me that while they will remake our order she is 100% positive that the two pizzas I had in my possession were correct. Mind you, we ordered three and only received two.
I was then guaranteed the hot dog stuffed crust pizza was accurate as she "made it herself". I then asked her to read the ticket back to me, which she did and what the ticket read was what we wanted but didn't get. I informed her that I was looking at the pizza now and it was covered in spinach and a BBQ swirl, which isn't what we asked. Again, I was assured by the manager that our pizza was correct.
At that point, in no longer wanting to deal with this issue we returned all of the items to the store and asked for a refund. We even offered to pay part of the bill as our daughter ate a couple of the cheese sticks. The manager took us to task for the missing cheese sticks, even after we offered to pay for them. She then wouldn't allow us to give the delivery driver, who was very polite his tip since our credit card was going to be refunded.
In working in the customer service field, I understand sometimes people are going to have a bad experience but this is now 4th time I have had to make a call about a mistake from this store. Instead of simply remaking the meal and delivering what we paid for, I got assurances that the incorrect food I was looking at was correct and a terrible attitude when we...
   Read moreI attempted to call this Pizza Hut to make an order and had three times where the recording hung up on me rather than sent me to the multiple choice menu or an individual. When I arrived at the Pizza Hut I explained this to the manager who denied receiving any phone calls. Then when I said where your phone must not be working he said we have received phone calls. Then I called him while I stood in front of him and of course the phone rang. The only difference being at this time the recording actually went to a menu to allow you to choose an option. Prior to this the phone had hung up on me rather than giving me a menu. The manager remained unapologetic regarding the entire situation. It's amazing how far an apology can go to making you feel good about a place or the lack of an apology giving you a negative opinion. Family has not arrived so I haven't even begun to eat the pizza to speak to the quality of the food.    Read moreMay 7, 2023 My order was for curbside. I sent message I was there to pick up and I called several times, No one answered the phone. I called customer service, still could not get someone in the store to answer the phone.
I go into the store to pick up my pizza. Iâm calling the store number as Iâm I the store. The phone doesnât ring. I asked the lady why she wasnât answering the phone, she said the phone is a managers phone and it didnât work.
When I was in my vehicle waiting for my order to be brought out to me; I saw the lady with dark hair with glasses pick up the land line phone and dial out. Then she is talking on her cell phone.
So, I ask why my order wasnât brought out to me she says it wasnât ready. I showed her my phone with my order that says it was ready. She said a ticket prints when the order is ready. She looks at the tickets on the warmer and yes my order was there and ready.
This lady either needs more training or she doesnât care about her job or customer service. I believe the ringer is turned off on the land line so they donât...
