Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Fairfield

This place is going down hill fast. I was served hot water with my meal. The waitress said, “oh I forgot ice?” I also asked for 2 lemons with my water she came back with 1. The salad came with 3 leaves of lettuce. The food was cold. Then there was a misunderstanding about a side of fries ($6) The owner came to the table said he’d take off $4 off my 80 bill lol for the fries. I don’t know where he got the number 4 from. But I explained to him I’d be very happy if he can take the $6 fries off. THE OWNER was very DISHONEST. I heard him tell the waiter take $5 off my bill. And at that point I felt disrespected and called him out on his Bullshiii. I told him he didn’t need to take anything off and I would pay everything in full. Then I get the bill and he took off $3.5 dollars.

This is honesty more funny for me then being mad. The owner was fighting over $2.

He then screamed out in his empty restaurant, “ why are you always mad.”

Bro if I was mad the last time would I have came back?

Now I will never come back. Congratulations you just...

The food from here is constantly good and I will order again! I would give that 5 stars; but I'm unhappy about the experience between Grub Hub and Pizza Palace.

I had ordered enough food that Grub Hub said there was a coupon that our 2 liter of soda would be free; so I added that to the cart. The delivery guy did not have our soda and showed me someone crossed it off the print out and told me to call the store. I did and the gentleman that answered the phone said that was an old coupon. I said well it would have been nice if you called me and told me that so I could have paid for the soda I ordered; because now we have food without a beverage.

I think it was poor customer service on the restaurants part for not telling me they were changing my order. And I'm not sure who's fault it is that there are outdated coupons on GrubHub, the restaurant or GH.

You're better off calling in your order for delivery than...

Pizza Palace has always been one of my family’s spots we would frequent often as we grew up in Fairfield. I now live in Maine and whenever we are back in CT visiting, we make sure to make our way there.

Hubby and I recently got to do a long overdue date night while visiting in CT and when deciding on a place…it has to be pizza palace! We highly enjoyed our meals! The quality and taste is still the same after all these years. Serving sizes are generous and will leave you with some to enjoy later at home. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and kind (which is what we have always experienced every time we go). If it’s just a few of us eating, or we have often had large parties (which they are always willing to accommodate), service and food are always spectacular. Perfect meal and experience!
