Test Drive

So we have threatened to stop here, and finally test drove something from the menu. The Wife & I decided on the "Street Taco's". Most people know what a "Street Taco" is, but if you don't they are a soft 4" - 6" Corn Tortillia with your ingredients. I got Chicken, and She got the Carne Asada. I forgot to get pics to post, but pics from other reviewers are great. So you get your meat, along with Onions, Cilantro, a Grilled Jalapeño, and a quarter piece of Lime. The meat is seasoned nicely (not greasy), and they come hot off the grill ready to grub. Add that produce, a squeeze from the Lime, and a nip of the Jalapeño all of which adds levels of flavor and freshness to the Taco's. Would we go back again ? Probably ... I think Taco Exxpress is worth a second visit. Many reviewers like the "Asada Fries" so maybe that will be the next trip. PS - Whatever you decide, be prepared to wait. Usually I don’t really have problems with anyone here , but I noticed the last couple of times , the one cashier that dresses like a anime character with the glasses , the bangs and the long ribbon bow clip I think her name is Karimen either messed up my order or mixed up my order . This evening I ordered a Birria Ramen with chips AND Salsa and for whatever reason she didn’t include the salsa so when I drove off and pulled over I noticed the salsa wasn’t there. I went back and explained to them that I order chips AND salsa and the cashier that took my order just laughed like I told a joke. Like look here ain’t crap funny about purposely forgetting items . The other time I order a Quesabirria plate and somehow she put a churro in my bag and I’m like I didn’t order a churro the customer behind me ordered a churro . Like please pay attention to peoples orders and less talking to co workers...

I used to go here twice a week for the Wednesday and Thursday specials. I liked it because the food tastes good and it's inexpensive.

However, I've had to stop going because they constantly mess up my order. I always ask for chicken and they give me beef, even after they repeat the order back to me. It happens way too frequently (sometimes 2 days in a row), so it's not worth it for me to go here anymore. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but I have a limited time for lunch so I can't be going back through the drive thru to correct my order every time.

Also worth mentioning, one time when I went back and received my corrected order, the outside of my taco shell tasted like Hot Cheetos. Like whoever made my food had Cheeto dust on their fingers? Really...
