The Fairfield - Deli and Grill — Restaurant in Fairfield

Unfortunately this has been the worse customer service I’ve experienced as a long time customer of Fairfield deli the food is good but the owners customer service has been a 0 I had an experience with them about a good year ago and I refrained from giving them a bad review and decided to give them another change since now we can order on line and just not have much or any communication at all so I placed an order this morning got my confirmation number and time frame was 20 minutes I arrived and had my son go in and just pick up my order only for him to come out and tell me that they don’t have an order for us so I go in and ask what’s the problem and he said nothing came in so they had nothing ready for me that apparently they had a problem with the computer last night so they ask how did i order and to let see the order..... so at this point I was a little frustrated, so I pull out my confirmation receipt and the order so they say it’s ok will make it no problem just 5 minutes I don’t know what happen. So I said what ever just make my food I’ll wait in the car when it was done they call me inside and tell me is ready that I need to pay, I said I told you I paid online already why do I have to pay again he said because nothing came in on his side so I said well that’s not my problem I paid and I just want my food he started arguing with me and wouldn’t give me the food until I paid at that time I got upset and told him that this is why I don’t go there anymore so them he goes to curse me out and tell meto get the f out of there and never come back and shoved the food at me even after they saw my confirmation numbers. So I get home and checked to see if in fact I was charged and yes I was so they should’ve never even argued with me amd called there service to verify my confirmation and now on top of that they rushed my order amd even screw up and didn’t even gave me all that I paid for so on top of the aggravation they gave me I paid for something I didn’t get great never again will I go there worse customer service and unprofessional staff they get upset even when they screw up your order and you call them out on it like it’s our fault they don’t know...

Staff was very polite, but the food was very greasy. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with a hash brown on it. My hash brown tasted like dirty oil. I love the Fairfield deli, everyone in there are so sweet and nice to my wife and I and our children.
