Nice dresses but the rudest people. Once we pick up dress today and get it altered, will never go here again and would not advise anyone to go here. Carmen is rude, a liar, and very unprofessional that barely speaks English as well as the other lady that is Spanish speaking. I got hung up on on Friday 6.9.17 when I was upset about a dress I paid for not arriving in the time they promised for my wedding. My Matron of Honor called today to see if the dress was there, and they were rude to her. I called at 2pm which I am the one who actually paid and purchased the dress so technically I am the customer and Carmen said I already called someone back and told them it was here and I don't know when she is coming. I told her Im the one who paid so tell me if its arrived. She said its here and I said I wanted proof and she rudely said you will need to wait because I don't know what to do its here and call later and hung up. So that is the second time I got hung up on. A bit disappointed with the customer service provided at this “boutique”. Not very inviting or in the least bit helpful. As we walked in no one greeted us the lady just kind of stood there, I didn’t know where to begin. While my friend was trying on a few dresses I asked what were the prices of the bridal belts I was looking at all she said was “they have different prices” didn’t even try showing me the bridal belts seems as if she could care less. I was looking at a romper she had hanging near the front asked if it was still for sale since It was just kind of awkwardly placed away from the rest of the clothes again a very short and uninterested response. I’m not sure if maybe it’s a language barrier and the lady is not able to express herself, if this is the case she should at least try to smile. We tried Winged monkey in Westport and had a way better experience and a variety of dresses we were able to find and buy a dress we liked! Unprofessional. They don't answer the phone or unlock the door during business hours. They only accept cash for alterations, which seems a bit suspicious, but they don't know how to count cash to make proper change, so BEWARE, or you'll get cheated! Even though all the proms in the world have been canceled, they would not honor a return for an EXPENSIVE dress that I now have no use for because they have "bills to pay" (like the rest of us struggling during this time).
