Very cute and nice…hotel? Motel? It’s sorta both. Is it worth $400 a night? No. Did it check (almost) all my boxes and make life very pleasant? Most certainly. 1. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating! 2. Rooms were clean and mostly functional 3. Location is solid (great for getting to Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater) 4. Pool is very nice! 🏊‍♀️ 5. Close to the beach!! 12 minute walk through a nice neighborhood down a few blocks of nice houses. There are sidewalks that lead you there. 6. Breakfast was simple but good! Actual-GOOD hard boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, breads, muffins, cereal, coffee, orange juice. 7-10 on weekends. 6:30-9:30 on weekdays I think. Tangent/complaint below: Our only real issue was that Room 22’s TV speakers blew out within 20 minutes of use—got extremely distorted and sounded scary. The staff couldn’t really do anything to remedy this, but were apologetic and offered to change our room to a different type (we declined since we were settled / the room type wasn’t what we wanted). We were NOT offered any discount for this inconvenience, but I was told at checkout to contact a manager in a few days 🤷🏻‍♂️ Wound up being the only real bummer since I’d been saying to my wife “the hotel actually has just a normal Roku and isn’t hard locked to one app, so if you play your cards right, there might be a little Summer I Turned Pretty wind down before bed time.” I did end up being a man of my word, and synced the Prime playback on the TV to my phone by playing an episode on both devices at the same time—but that was crazy to get going and with suboptimal albeit tolerable results. And before you ask, no you can’t cast to the TV because the Roku is on a different WiFi than the guest WiFi. Maybe this will be the dawn of a TV update era here, because the TV’s are somewhat old and pretty poor quality, also bordering on hilariously (not quite hilarious, but certainly notably) small on an otherwise HUGE and empty wall. However, the TV’s don’t have motion-smoothing auto-enabled (probably because the models themselves predate the poison—I made “feature.”), so that was nice at least! End TV tangent.

We stayed here June 26 & 27th 2018. Part of the balcony was collapsed and our room was right underneath it. Why would you even book that room? They also had people staying above us, a safety hazard I'm sure. There were too many people in one room above us and they kept their door open all day and most of the night and were loud. The room was not clean. The rugs were stained and vents filthy. Upon entering our room we noticed the sheets were soiled and had hair on them. We contacted the front desk to change them, which they did. The maids do not speak English and entered our rooms in the morning without knocking. The hotel did not have a "Do not disturb" sign to place on doors. Not that we weren't awake anyway, as they began banging on the scaffolding in front of our room at 6:45 am. SERIOUSLY? I called the front desk and they stopped the workers but we were wide awake by then. Free breakfast was included which was so so. The only good thing about it was an automatic pan cake maker. But then we discovered there was no syrup. They ran out. A good manager would have run out and bought a bottle! The tables had UNfresh flowers in the middle with stinky water and dead petals falling all over. We also stayed at a Super 8 motels during our trip, which were much cleaner and less than half the price of Circle Hotel. Very disappointed. We will never stay here again!

Greetings! My spouse and I had the good fortune of staying at the Circle Hotel — twice in the recent past. We had so much fun! Our rooms were medium-sized with two Queen beds, in each nautical-themed room. Maybe it’s partly because my Dad was a Greek sea captain, but we quickly felt “at home.” With that, we found this hotel to have a warm and welcoming energy, largely in part to John’s caring demeanor. He checked us in both times (when we arrived). It was lovely to be greeted and cared for, by such a kind person. And Vlad gave us a parting gift in the form of a big smile the next day! We appreciate the staff there who helped to make our stay special. Also, the continental breakfast is simple yet delightful. While, tbh, I’d enjoy a non-egg protein option (maybe a bowl of almonds and walnuts or something like that?) it sure beats the basic coffee and carbs offered by some establishments. Lastly, we found our rooms (both were on the second floor facing toward the “pool side” of the hotel), to be quiet — which was a needed respite from city living. We also appreciated the view into an open marsh on the backside of the hotel, which provided our eyes and minds with a replenishing mental health break. Overall, we had a terrific time there (the photos speak for themselves), and we hope to return in the near future. : ) Thanks, all! Best, K & G

Me and my wife did an overnight at the Circle Hotel Fairfield while attending a local event. The service people at the front desk were very nice and helpful, and there was someone staffing it overnight. They were also training new staff while we were there, but there was always someone experienced there to ensure good service. We had a dual-queen sized room as it was what fit our budget with the Trip.com discounts. We stayed in building 2 which is a very short walk from the main building. The room was spacious, basic but nicely enough decorated, and nicely clean-enough, though the toilet seat had been through some things and maintenance should have replaced it, but it wasn't broken. I let the front desk know and they said they'd have it addressed. The room had basic amenities (2 free bottles of water was nice), coffee maker, Ironing board iiron, soap, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, tissue box, etc. A closet with a few hangers It could have used more hangers and it would have been nice to have a suitcase stand. No dresser/drawers, and no phone. There was a serviceable mini-fridge.We didn't use the TV so I can't comment on it.There wasn't a book with local businesses listed or deals for them, etc.The front desk area has a little shop you can buy overpriced neccesities and drinks. There's a pool out back that looks nice. There's also a nice lounge area inside and chairs/tables to relax outside out back. There was a decent breakfast layout, but it's mostly a variety of bread stuffs/carbs - not diabetic or keto friendly. They did have hard boiled eggs, fruit, and hot cereal packets so there are meager non-carb options. There was also cereals, sugar-sweetend yogurts, and a variety of drinks including coffee and juices. The make-it-yourself waffles were a nice touch. I would have liked bacon or sausage, but overall for the room rate it was a nice breakfast layout. We'd ordered food at night from Seamless and got a delivery to our room door with no problem. Note: Restaurants close early in the area, but there's a nearby 24hr McDonalds that's drive-through and order-only after 10pm.There's also a decent diner open right next to the hotel during the day. And shopping center across the road.If you don't feel like driving, the local main street bus stops right in front of the hotel on either side of the street going in both directions. Great if you're checking out the local brewery, which also has good food and was an A+ experience.Just make sure you have quarters for the bus. $1.75 per person gives you a 2-hour "unlimited" pass to use the local busses in either direction.Overall, we liked our stay and would stay again in the future if the price is right. Compared to our experiences with similar hotels, under $140 was just right for our room as they had minimal business and it was nicely quiet. If they were busier, I'd expect $100 to $120 deal, and very busy, maybe less..If I can think of anything else I'll update my review. I...

My recent stay at Circle Hotel Fairfield was a pleasant surprise, offering a blend of comfortable lodging, convenience, and lovely surroundings.

Room Comfort and Style: The rooms at Circle Hotel Fairfield strike a balance between the cozy familiarity of a travel lodge and the luxury of a 3.5-star accommodation. It's evident that the rooms have been thoughtfully updated to provide a modern and comfortable stay.

Location: The hotel's central location in Fairfield, Connecticut, is a definite advantage. It's not only close to the Fairfield Metro North Station but also conveniently located just a 10-minute walk away. For travelers by car, it's a quick two-minute drive from the Interstate 95 North, making it easily accessible for those on the move.

Room Features: One feature I appreciated was the ability to open the windows safely, allowing fresh air and natural light to flow into the room. However, the use of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the shower might raise some concerns, although they should be perfectly fine for most friendly visitors.

Scenic Views: The hotel's location also provides beautiful country views at the back, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere that's a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Welcoming Common Area: The large sitting area near the front desk can comfortably accommodate a sizable group of guests. It adds a welcoming touch to the hotel and is a great place to relax or gather with fellow travelers.

Breakfast and Dining: While I didn't get to experience it firsthand, the fact that the hotel serves breakfast is a nice touch. It's the perfect way to start your day before exploring the nearby restaurants and attractions. With numerous dining options in the area and beaches just a short drive away, there's no shortage of culinary and leisure adventures to embark on.

In summary, Circle Hotel Fairfield offers a well-rounded and comfortable stay in the heart of Fairfield, Connecticut. Its blend of convenience, updated accommodations, and lovely surroundings make it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. Whether you're catching a train from the nearby station or exploring the local attractions, this hotel provides a welcoming and enjoyable base...
