The Habit makes good food. The burgers are delicious as are the salads. They took a stance about upselling for their delicious homemade ranch dressing. Its delicious and it is one thing I look forward to about eating here. They now charge for any and all extra ranch. It comes with salads and a few ither menu items, but if you want more you have to pay. CHEESE on your burger, casts like a buck extra. How can you charg3 menextra for a slice of cheese when the burger is already 12 plus dollars? Sevice: like most places they now have a do-it-yourself kiosk as you walk in the door. I don't mind this as an option but they really try to steer you to use it rather than going up to the cashier to place your order with a real person. Seems like ever since COVID businesses have changed their model so that they can squeeze every nickel they can out of people's hard earned cash. I don't mind this sometimes because in the end the value is still there if the food is good and the service is good and the facility is clean and welcoming, but that's not always the case at the habit. I see mostly dirty tables when I walk in to our local restaurant here in Fairfield. I see three or four employees at the front of the store mostly doing nothing. The condiments that they offer which are basically pepperoncini peppers some other hot peppers sliced lemon for the iced tea etc are often times depleted or look like they've been in there for two or three days and need to be thrown out and refreshed. So when I walk in and you're not doing anything and the tables are dirty the floors are dirty the bathrooms are dirty the condiments need to be refreshed the iced tea is not made and you now want me to give you a tip at the end of my kiosk order that doesn't really sit well with me at all. My rule is if I have to stand at a counter and order it from you, then you've done nothing and all I'm obligated to do is pay for the food. If I sit down and you come over and you bring me a drink and you ask me what I would like and then you go turn that order in and then you bring it back to my table and then you check on me at least once then you deserve a tip. In this day and age everybody wants you to tip and the tips are getting more and more expensive but the service is seriously lacking. About a month ago, we had the pleasure of dining at The Habit Burger Grill in Fairfield, California, and I'm just now getting around to sharing our wonderful experience. As visitors from out of state, we were excited to try a local spot that we don't have back home, and The Habit Burger Grill exceeded our expectations.

The burgers were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. While the fries were decent, the exceptional quality of the burgers truly stole the show. The menu offered a great variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.

EXTREMLY DIAAPPOINTED. Gave this place a second try as the first one failed when I order over $70 food to go. This time brought family to the place, Sitting are extremly limited. Wait at the table since the waiting bench is only for 3. Food was wrong, Lettuce wrap cheese burger with avocado First was cold, remade in less than 3 minutes came back with bacon, then remake and we got the next one in 1 minutes but a char burger with avocado only, no onion, no tomato no cheese. Oh, a d it was on the bread. Since the rest were finish their food, we just accept and decided to conclude our visit to our neighborhood resturant.
