I went to jcpenny portraits with my husband to take picture for my dear son who just clocked six months.I met this young lady. When we got to the room to take pictures, I asked her if we could get something to clean the floor as it was looking dirty and definitely that was not going to be healthy for my baby. She went to search for what we could use, but came back and said she could not get anything, then my husband suggested that she could get a paper towel and she came back with a piece of a paper towel, so She handed it over to us and I removed my shoes and knelt down, wiped out the floor, my goodness, it was so dirty, when she she saw how dirty it was, then she went back to get a box of tissue in a twinkle of an eye. She still handed the tissue to us and never offered to clean her work space. By the way, the first time she was going to get what to clean the floor, she stated “ let me go find something for you (she meant us) to use to clean the floor. Just for the sake of peace, I just let go. My advice is that jcpenny should improve on hygiene practices and train their staff to be helpful and know their job description. Moms out there, kindly ensure the floor your child will sit on is clean before you start any photo...
Read moreCustomer service is horrible. My wife and I went in to get her a pant suit and me a belt and some shoes. After finding what we wanted we were upstairs and we couldn't find anyone to check us out so we finally found a girl that worked there and she said to go down stairs to check out. Once we found a person down there that looked like they worked there we asked her where to check out and she said at the service desk so we asked where the service desk was and she said up stairs so we went up stairs. We got frustrated and put everything down and then my wife asked a lady where to check out and she said over at the service desk, so we went over there. The girl at the service desk was working with some clothes and when she finally acknowledged we were there she acted really put out that we were there but she did check us out. One problem though, when we got home my wife noticed that the girl at the check out didn't remove the security tags from her clothes. I'm shocked this place...
Read moreWe ordered online. The online said items would be by 6pm. We never got notified. Next morning, we got notified and went to pick up luggage and brought it home. Later that evening, as we went to open luggage to start packing, we noticed anti-theft locks still on. However, when we left JCP with suitcases, alarm didn't sound. We called to see if we could remove them and the lady said some were filled with paint or ink and we'd likely get sprayed. So I took them back, still not triggering the alarm at the door at JCP. The lady working the desk removed them and ensured me she would speak with the new hires and remind them to take these off. So, the suitcases were of good price and quality. The transactions were painless. Personnel were quick, efficient, and cordial. I didn't like that the security locked didn't set off the alarm at the door, twice. I also didn't like having to make an extra, unplanned...
