Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

Wanted to give a huge shout-out to Lisette for her efforts this morning (July 21, 2023 at the Fairview Heights, IL location). I had placed a catering order online 2 days ago and when I showed at 11:45 am to pick up there was no record and nothing waiting for me. I had placed the order on my work computer so couldn't get the confirmation number to load, but remembered the order total and what I had ordered so wasn't sure if the system had glitched. Staff member Lisette graciously checked the back and said she couldn't seem to find my order but had already started working it. I couldn't find where I had been charged in my bank account so said that would be great and appreciated it, and she offered if I did end up getting charged twice to let her know and they would resolve it ASAP. She brought the completed order to the front (total process was probably 10 minutes) and I was out with the order for 10 folks. Event went great, and when I was able to get back to computer noticed my "confirmation screen shot" didn't have the red "complete my order" selected... as in I had never finished the order process. Bottom line... my error was completely cleared and resolved in 10 minutes by the Chick-Fil-A team and Lisette going above and beyond. Today, was my WORST experience at Chick-fil-A in Florissant! I spend an average of $40 everytime I go here. I am usually very good about checking my bag because I usually have a big order and I don't want anyone's food to be left out. Today, I glanced in the bag looked good and when I got home I realized I was missing a sandwich. This was VERY annoying because this was for my daughter if it was for me I probably would've just said forget it because I REALLY didn't feel like going up there but I called and they told me to come back to get the sandwich. I come back and of course the line is super long so I pull in a curbside to go spot and call inside to let them know that I just called about the sandwich and asked them could they bring it out. They said I needed to come inside. I come inside only to be ignored for 5-10 minutes them they FINALLY ecknowledge me and I asked them can I get the sandwich, and why couldn't they bring it outside afterall I have already been inconvenienced having to come back up there, now I have to come inside, be ignored, then only to get a sandwich thats been sitting under a light. No fries, since they were cold by the time I take the sandwich back home she asks me do I want a fruit cup, like really? They just out did me today. I usually like the service the food is ok. I have recently discovered Chick-Fil-A and I can't say enough good things about the Fairview Heights IL location. I live an hour away from Chick-Fil-A and pass through Fairview to help my 89 year old parents 2-3 times a week. I always saw a huge line so as much as I wanted to pull through and grab a meal, I always kept going. One day I drove by and my car just took over and I pulled into the drive-thru. All I can say is WOW! I was so impressed. Every single person I interacted with made me feel like the only customer there and they just went out of their way to take my order, expedite yet not rush to keep the line moving and provide unmatched, stellar customer service. In no time, I had my "new favorite meal". I worked as a job recruiter for 10 years and have dealt with every type of employer-employee issue there is. This level of professionalism exhibited by Fairview Heights Chick-Fil-A employees consistently is almost unheard of. No matter what is going on behind the scenes and what goes on in their personal lives, your amazing employees check their egos at the door and create an awesome dining experience for hungry customer after hungry customer. Please extend my greatest appreciation to all of your employees.
