Visited after church on 10/9/2022 around 1:30 pm with my husband, 2 children, and my mother-in-law. When it was my turn to order my food, I ordered 3 salads and a kid’s quesadilla. A young black man made my first bowl. I ordered half steak and half garlic guajillo steak on the first bowl, which he made effortlessly. He then went to make the quesadilla. A white young lady who goes but the name of Allison, asks if I needed help. I told her “no, I was just waiting on the other young man to come and finish.” She said she could help and begins to make my second and third salads. I ordered half steak half chicken on both. However, she gave me very little of both meats in comparison to my first salad. So I said, “do you mind giving me the same amount of meat that’s on my first salad.” She puts the extra meat on and then whispers to a guy, who goes by the name Tyler, to charge me for double meat. When I get to the register, the cashier says, “one 1/2 steak and 1/2 new steak salad, and two steak/ chicken salads with double meat.” I said, “ma’am, I didn’t ask for double meat.” The Tyler guy then comes over to ask what the problem was. I said “when she(Allison) was making my salads, I asked for 1/2 steak 1/2 chicken on the last two. However when she only put a little meat on, I asked her to make it match my first salad. I said, I didn’t ask for double meat.” He and Allison then open all my salads up (contamination) and see my first bowl and say, “well that’s double.” The young black man who made my first bowl was now back and says, “I made that bowl. It’s a 1/2 and 1/2. It’s not double. He, Allison and Tyler go back and forth with a few word. Then Tyler turns to tell me, upon me again saying I didn’t order double meat, “That’s not true.” I said, “it is. I didn’t ask for double heat. I then said, “this isn’t how people in customer service are to deal with customers. My husband was in management for 13 yrs and not once did he tell a customer they were lying or attempt to go back and forth. Tyler then says, “we’ll this is how I’m handling it. I’ve done this for ten years.” He then turns to walk to the back as I’m still discuss this matter now with Allison. Tyler then says, “You just want some free meat!” I said, “ I don’t need anything free from Chipotle!! I just want you all to make my food right and not cheat me.” He continues talking and laughing and I say, That’s ok… I’ll just call corporate. He then begins to walk towards me, my MIL and children, who are in line with me, while taking off his apron yelling,?” You think I need this job??!! I don’t care about this job!” He’s continue to walk towards me yelling and threatening me. Thankfully my husband was there and ran to where I was and Tyler then strata walking towards him as if to threaten my husband as well. It gets pretty heated and the manager then comes out and pushes Tyler to the back. The manager was not helpful. He didn’t send Tyler home or anything for his behavior. He offered us free food. Of course we declined because we didn’t want ANYTHING for free. We just wanted our food. I called corporate 2 times. Once that day, and then two weeks later. I have yet to hear back from anyone. Since then, I filed a police report for the incident as I was threatened. I will never set foot in their establishment AGAIN! I honestly hope they get shut down! Until then, I will continue to tell everyone I know or come in contact with to not patron them. Their customer service is very poor and the restaurant isn’t as clean as it should be per other reviews. Chipotle sucks!...
Read moreThere are times where you want to leave more than one star to try to be fair but this place isn’t one of them. Two of us and it’s 9:10, 50 minutes before closing time when we walk in and get in line, only one person in front of us. Decided on Chipotle over Chili’s after a long days drive because as someone with a little compassion, I try not to go to a sit-down establishment when there’s less than an hour till close. Chipotle is basically fast food so I figured it’d be alright.
Nope. Everyone but two people on staff are busy cleaning up, spraying chemicals, moving the entire steam tray table so they can sweep while the one guy makes take out order after take out order (I guess he’s just the takeout order guy, which okay whatever) and the other tries weakly to make his way in but takeout is hogging the small, one-person space that is between the grill area and the now, very narrow walkway between the tortilla heater and the register minutes later, essentially blocking anyone else out from preparing food. Finally the other guy gets to us. It’s 9:23. Finally get our turn and feeling bad for the people who were in there, food prepared but still waiting to pay because nobody will ring them up. Employees are busy doing closing duties, putting chairs up, moving stuff around. Guy finally comes up and stands there at the glass looking at us. No, “what can I get you today”, just a blank stare. She takes the reins and orders a salad bowl. Now I get to make an order - The low quality of the food service isn’t even worth mentioning… just imagine juniors in high school prepped your meal. Giant pieces of lettuce, barely cut up, which made her salad bowl pretty much just the scoop of meat and toppings. I got a burrito bowl. Wait about 5 mins to pay and everyone is too busy to ring us up. it’s now just a little after 9:30 and though I’m not opposed to waiting 20 minutes for food and I’ve worked as a server and in a kitchen before, it’s pretty annoying to sit down at table and have an employee put up every chair around you except the ones at your table… when there’s now an 8 person line… and the reason you’re still there ‘bothering’ them is because you had to wait for orders to be made for people that weren’t even there. Girlfriend finished her meager salad bowl quickly and went out to the car cause the intense vibes of “we’re trying to leave asap” from the staff were overwhelming. I almost told someone not to touch my food when I used the bathroom because I felt like if I wasn’t at the table with it for more than 30 seconds someone was gonna throw it in the trash so they could put those chairs up to get out the door quicker.
Also the bathroom is nasty. It has to have been quite a while since the sink was cleaned. Sorry no pics of the food - didn’t want to waste storage space...

Illinois Street Fairview Heights Illinois today, and stood in line for over 30 minutes, because they ran out of chicken, so as mostly everyone there was waiting on chicken, finally got up to the counter to place my order, only to be told that they don’t make Quesadillas in the store that is an online order only. What?, so the worker tells me she’s sorry, but if they make it they can be fired. I’m still standing here asking her where is the sign saying that? She looks around and say there isn’t one but we can only make them if you’re ordering off the app. Then the general manager Tony Beasley, tells me that there’s no number I can call to speak to cooperate on them, and to google it if I want to speak to someone higher than him. TONY BEASLEY THE GENERAL MANAGER OVER THAT LOCATION NEEDS TO BE FIRED. He do not know how to run a shift because I’m assuming that because they were busy and short handed he can’t deal with customers who been standing in your line over 30 mins who was Patronizing your restaurant. This is bad business and I will never again patronize chipotle even again. This is what restaurant want you to do is result in doing online orders only so they want have to deal with customers. Chipotle and Fairvew Heights is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. Don’t worry I want be back. Another thing You should not advertise quesadillas on television if you cannot make them in the store, and you have a general manager who thought it was funny that I wasted 30 something minutes of my day in your restaurant. The lady that was in front of me, started complaining about them running out of chicken and it was taking to long to cook it, they offered her a double steak bowl for the price of a chicken bowl, so I guess they know what customers to value at that location. When I walked into your restaurant I was prepared to pay for my meal, not one person said, ma’am since the line was long, and we were waiting on chicken would you like a bag of chips or even a soda foe your time.” People chose to Patronize your establishment, they...
