Read moreI had not been to a Hobby Lobby store for many years, but went to this store to have an acrylic painting that I did 30 years ago framed. I didn't catch the name of the person helping me in the picture framing section, but I remember her name tag saying assistant manager. I had no idea what to expect, and thought I would probably have to leave my painting there and come back at some later point to pick it up. Oh no - the opposite happened and the employee there showed me which frames they had available in the store, and held them up against my painting so I could see how they looked. I did love how one of the in stock frames looked. She also offered to show me other frames in their custom stock, in case I wanted a custom frame. Read moreI have never in my life had a more uncomfortable stopping experience. I was followed around by employees for over 30 minutes. I heard an announcement to check the cameras in the department that I was in. Even called security to the front of the store while I was checking out and had their manager Pam out front with a pencil and paper to write down my license plate mind you I was never approached by anybody. When I pulled up to the woman I asked her how are you today she immediately got an attitude and said that she has no idea what I'm talking about when I asked her why they were following me and why she's outside trying to write down my license plate. I understand places having problems with theft however I work very hard to buy the things that I want or need and don't appreciate being followed around a store for absolutely no reason. I will do my craft shopping at JoAnn or Michaels from here on out I will never go to this...
