Store itself is great. Great products and great prices. However, I went there to get my boyfriend a gift and the employees there looked at us like we were crazy. We asked one employee if they had a specific tool box that was on sale, he said they were sold out. That was fine, he was nice. My mom asked if we could take the display and they said unfortunately they can’t let us buy it. Which was fine. So we went up to the front to ask them what other locations would have that product and they began goofing off. Treating us like we were crazy for wanting to buy their display, then began giving us trouble trying to find another one at a different location. We asked them to call the other store and they said “well they won’t hold it for you”. “Well we are out and by the time you get there they will be too”. “Just order it online”. Ordering it online would make it even more expensive then when it isn’t on sale. I called the other location and the girl at the Farmington location was very nice and said she would HOLD IT FOR ME. Oh and then we figured out that FH location had some left, they were just too lazy to help us carry it...

The new Harbor Freight marketing strategy has decided to went away from the 20% coupon and free items. I have not received a coupon since the pandemic started. It does makes me upset they are forcing their staff to ask for phone number, email and address emphasizing customers will get coupons, which is not true. I had an argument w one of them, I told him, send me the coupons right now, I just gave you the number, or tell me where they at... because I have not seen one months.

On the website it says go to the store to take advantage of the 20% coupons, and I did, ask the lady where are the coupons the site is advertising, and her excuse was the site s has not updated.

Am too old for this useless "give me your phone number for coupons" as if I am a kid been told a lie w the expectation of getting a candy in exchange of valuable personal.information. I shop here often. Well I used to shop here often. I purchased a 8750 Preditor inverter generator yesterday. I took it home hooked up the battery added the oil and gas and started it. It ran super loud like a loud lawn mower and it is an inverter generator that is supposed to be quite. I have to have quiet because it's for a food truck. The next morning I drained the oil and gas and brought it back. Even though there was something wrong with it they would not give me a full refund. They kept $240 for a restocking fee. Why would they restock a bad generator? Anyway if that's how all the 8750 preditor generators run and you need a quiet one, buyer beware and, Don their manager refused to give the money back. I will give my business to Northern tool from now on. So they may had stole $240 from me but they lost hundreds of dollars a year in...
