T.J. Maxx — Local services in Fairview Heights

Continuous security harrassment from Syed, and the store security crew. I had never seen so much security staff following customers. While trying out jackets one of them security watching from a corner as if he was some FBI agent following someone. The female security picking up and putting back in racks what my daughter was putting aside besides me. Completely rude staff. Then Syed approaches me and after some casual talk I told him to give me some space that am not going to steal anything. He mentioned he was just doing his job. As we proceeded to the cash register line he stood beside w somr cheap talk about opening a TJ Maxx card, once again I told him I felt uncomfortable, I feel harrassed, to step away, Syed rolled his eyes and said OMG, am just doing my job and said go go pay and walked away to turn around and pretend he and his other staff was orginizing the shelfs on the register line. I could see him looking and walking behind the clerk who was scanning our items. Once we walked out the store, he and his security crew walked back to their office spots, behind close doors. The worst security staff I have seen, singling out latinos, me and my family. My daughter was upset she was been followed as well, when last week we had just purchased 300 on merchandise. There were caucasians and blacks, but we as hispanics were the only ones followed at all times. I went back to the store and once again explained Syed that when a customer says back off, I feel harrassed, it means that, to treat me and my family w respect and not as if we are some thieves.

I had purchased a teeth whitening pen and went to open the box and the pen had been stolen out of the box. I called the store asking for a manager and was told to bring the empty box in. When I came in days later, an extremely rude manager by the name of Siad said no to replacing my product because I did not have my receipt. If I would have known my whitening pen wouldn’t be in the box when I went to go use it, I obviously would have kept my receipt but I was expecting the pen to be in the box. Siad did not handle the situation properly and I will not be returning to this store ever again. I completely wasted my money on a product that was stolen out of the box due to their lack of security and...

I went into T.J. Maxx because I've never been in one! I've been in Marshalls before though 😂 I found a lot of cute clothes for School & Church! I even found Juicy Couture sleep shorts, panties, and lacey bras!! T.J. Maxx has a lot of cute things. It was kinda hard to find my size though, I was sure looking for awhile! 😂 But it's okay, I eventually found my size, as long as you look for a little bit, I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like in T.J. Maxx!! The only "problem" I had was some of the cashiers...
