White Castle — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

Rude Rude Rude!!! Curtis took my order was polite, i asked for a 10 pack half with no onions and half with no pickles.. when we got them, there were onions on all of them. Some didn't have as many but were still a good amount on them. I took them back up and asked to have replacements with no onions. He said well ma'am we grill the burgers with onions on the grill and we scrape off as much as possible and i said oh ok well these still have pretty many on them. He snatched them away real fast and slammed them in the trash then yelled can i have 5 more with no onions and walked away from me. I sat back down while i waited and then he comes out to the dining area acting like he's looking around for something and starts yelling across the restaurant, "No, she didn't say she was allergic" he repeated this 3 times!! Then was like"she just don't want none" the lady on the grill was looking at us shaking her head and mumbling stuff to the other lady back there. Then the lady grilling tossed them up on the counter and he just looked at me and was like, here, with an attitude. We had no idea they grilled them with the onions on the grill until he told us. We were visiting from a state that has no white castles restaurants, just the frozen ones you can get in the grocery store. Unfortunately, this place gets by on the white castle name because the inside was not very clean and their employees...

I have never been treated so poorly by an employee before. It was pouring down rain, and we waited in drive for 20 minutes. They would take one order at a time; make it, then hand it out before taking the next order. This left us stuck at the order menu getting soaked for several minutes waiting to place our order. It was hard to hear him because of the rain, so since all the cars in front of us were gone, we asked if we could pull to the covered window to place our order. He said hatefully, "why can't you just place it there". He had a ton of nasty comments before he finally told us to pull forward. We left before he had a chance to spit in our food. We have been driving for hours in a downpour, and just wanted to get something quick to eat and continue home. This store needs some...

I’m so disappointed. All of our sliders were so overly salted, we could not eat them. They were so dry and a very dark color, onions were burnt dark brown, which tells me they were sitting there awhile, re salted and were cold on top of it. The fish nibblers were so dark, over fried and the oil desperately needs a change. Has a very discount taste when oil is not filtered or changed. The fries- mushy and cold. We had to reheat in our oven in order to eat them. I LOVE White Castle and hadn’t been to one in 8 years until we just moved back to Midwest. Location in Shilo- was awesome.
