I'm actually quite disappointed with this visit. It started out a bit rough to begin with. The server seemed nice and said "hi how are you?" and when my husband replied with a simple "hi", we got "I'm good, thanks for asking." A bit rude in my book, but ok. We ordered our drinks, 2 bar drinks and 3 sodas for the kids. 2 out of 3 kids got their drinks first, then my husband's frozen margarita and then my draft beer. My daughter waited a few mins for her soda. No real biggie. She came back to ask if we were ready to order. I said we would like to start with the pretzels and beer cheese first and then we all placed our order (at the same time). She didn't come back to check on drinks (2 of the kids drinks were empty), but I was fine with waiting to ask for refills until our appetizer came. It never did. She brought out 3 of our 5 entrees and then went to go check on the tip she got from another table and talk with some friends before bringing out the 4th and finally the 5th. My husband ask got the philly with tots (and cheese) but wanted the jalapenos on the side. The jalapenos were on the sandwich and there was no cheese for the tots. I informed her that we still didn't receive our appetizer and husband told her that his sandwich was wrong and missing cheese. She seemed annoyed and went to the window and told them that she "didn't want to be yelled at again." I'm a server myself. I know things happen and people have rough days We did NOT yell. A bit annoyed, yes, but didn't yell. She finally came back with my husband's corrected meal and then asked if the kids wanted refills. She brought those and the pretzels and said if we wanted to speak to a manager she would get her, otherwise she would get something removed from the bill for us. Her demeanor was annoyed from almost the beginning so we opted for something off the bill. We weren't even done eating before she asked if we wanted dessert and when we said probably not, she asked if we were ready for the check. The rest of our stay felt incredibly rushed and unwelcomed. She brought our bill and they took off a whopping $5 from our appetizer that we wouldn't have even wanted anymore had she asked. It was just an all around unpleasant experience. I will add that your servers need to take in consideration where their tables are sitting in proximity to the kitchen window because hearing the way she talked about us was incredibly rude. I'd love to be able to give the servers name, but that's a bit difficult since she never actually...
Read moreI haven't been to Hooters in probably more than 10 years. I just don't have one close to home for me to visit more often. After hearing about them filing for bankruptcy, I figured I go and have those amazing wings one last time. I order the original wings curly fries and a beer. The beer took a little while to get. I don't blame the waitress. I can see that this is another one of the many bars and restaurants that now require waitstaff to enter drink orders in the POS. The bartender has to see the order, make the beer, send notification back to the waitstaff so that they can then pick it up and deliver it. It is apparently a lot smoother and faster than the waitstaff just asking the bartender for a beer. Lots of places do this now and I will never, not hate it. When the wings came, they were not the original wings. I asked about then, and what I was served is what they now call their original wings. These wings were completely different from the ones I used to eat fairly regularly. These were wings with sauce dumped on top of them. They tasted great, but they are not the original wings. From what I saw, I can guarantee that somewhere a bunch of managers are sitting around a corporate conference table complaining about how no one eats out anymore or some other dumb stuff, and that is why they have to file for bankruptcy. Not one of them will realize that the small changes that they made to their business, has made it not nearly as enjoyable of an experience. Add those frustrations with the $100 bill for three people, 2 sodas, 2 beers, no appetizer, 3 ten piece wings and 2 fries, it's not a great value to eat here. I loved the wings, I liked my waitress. I just don't see Hooters as a place where I get my monies worth for the time I...
Read moreMy experience at his Hooter's location was very poor. All was going fair until we were served, despite all the other tables around us getting attention by the other waitresses. Three of the meals made it out, a few sauces were missing, although we reminded our waitress, she would come back a while later and had forgotten the request. After the second time, we laughed it off and we never got the ghost pepper and ranch request. The fourth meal, fish and chips with the $3 shrimp took a long time. My party had finished their meal, I mentioned to the group I'll just cancel the order so we can head home. The waitress was nowhere to be found to cancel it, and when she finally came by, it was with the last meal (after a long, long wait). It was almost felt like she knew the order was dropped and avoided our table. it would have been nice to at least come back and update us on the order status. Even after the long wait, she said sorry it took so long (clearly visible everyone was done eating) and asked if there is anything else we needed. Well, the tartar sauce was missing for the fish and chips. Plus, the $3 add on shrimp was not there, so more waiting. We were nice, even left a tip after such a horrible experience (as I at least appreciate they are in the service industry). However, the restaurant was not busy, and the other waitresses were keeping close tabs on their patrons and we certainly wished we had one of them waiting on us. It was on 8/6/24, our server was Anna. There are a few other grievances, but above is...
