J J's Coney Island Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Fall River

Love this place. Been there twice recently. And if I wasn't an old guy with high blood pressure. I would go there all the time. I've been going here for decades. I ate 6 of their weiners before work one night. I did the buy 5 get one free deal, and figured I would save a couple for later. Yea no! They're too good. I couldn't stop myself. Never felt so crappy at work before from eating too much. Man that was a mistake.

The ladies here are real nice. All the food is just basic diner food, but they do it really well. Hot cheese is awesome. Cheese dogs too. Chili dogs, hot weiners, burgers with choices of cheese. Nachos with cheese sauce. Chow mein sandwiches. French fries. Soup. I think they even do breakfast.

So it's a lot more then a hot dog shack. It's like a real diner menu, but no big meals. This place is great. Sorry Nick's hot dog's (across the street) these are better.

Edit: Went here again a couple of nights ago, and was waited on by a gentleman who I'm pretty sure is the owners son. Very nice guy. Once again another great meal. I like the family owned atmosphere a lot. When I gave them a sincere thank you, and said that I really appreciated it on the way out. I got the most sincere thank you back from them that I may have ever gotten. They seem like really genuine people. And if you pay attention. You'll notice that great care is taken to insure the place is clean, and that food sanitation rules...

Hello my name is greg i am a very important food critic ok says so in name tonight i want to review JJs fall river ok i order two hot dogs with the onions bacon cheese chicken sandwich fries with chili ok wow first eat chicken sandwich very good nice price i bite in nice juicy very white meat ok that means all good parts of the chicken very juicy this is like 500 times better than mchicken best value chicken sabdwich in fall river ok hot dogs much better than other time jjs very fresh juicy lots of onions i like onions i ask for lots of onions i get lots of onions ok raw best topping for the hot dog these are best dogs have in long time nicks hot dogs across the street i refuse to eat there ok workers very rude to delivery drivers very dirty inside once i saw lady smoking cigarette outside go back in not wash hands before making more food ok very dirty i not eat there but jjs very clean juicy chicken sandwich i give 205 gregs up you go good value great hot dogs excellent...

My first time in downtown Fall River and I was excited to try some Coney Island hotdogs. It seems like there is a pretty healthy debate online about who has the best dogs in the area and I was pretty torn on which one to choose for my first time Fall River hot dogs. Ultimately I knew I was probably going to end up with the taste experience I wanted because these places are decades long established. I was thrilled with my JJ's 2 all the way Coney Island hot dogs and my only regret is not getting the buy 5 get the 6th free. The hot dogs were a good size and appetite busting and those diced onions will be in my taste bud dreams! Next trip to Fall River will definitely include more hot dogs and a tour of the Lizzie...
