Azteca Grill & Bakery — Restaurant in Fallon

I've been dining here for more than 5 years. I've noticed that staff & employees have changed. No big deal right? My family & I planned all day to have a tasty dinner in the later evening. Unfortunately, had to attend to a family emergency prior before arriving at the restaurant. We arrived a half hour before closing. The facility was occupied with customers so we were thankful we arrived just in time. So we thought... We were the last to order, we were delighted to come home and dig in.But we were disturbed that our food was COLD entirely mind you. My spouse Is pregnant. On the way out. We greeted them thankfully in Spanish indicating "Buenas Noticas "which means "Good Night " and they just looked at us as if we were foreign. To be clear, I am only giving 4 stars for the food. The service was horrible.

We ordered food for pick up and were completely ignored when we walked in. Waited at the pick up counter while being stared at by the woman behind the counter. She walked by multiple times without saying a word. Finally she walked to the cash register and asked if she could take our order. We said we were picking up which caused her to roll her eyes and give major attitude. She then offered salsa but got annoyed that we didn’t give her an exact number of how many we wanted.

The food was actually really good and affordable! Cheesy quesadillas, decent enchilada sauce, even the beans and rice were good. Only complaint was that the carne asada was a bit salty. We will be coming here again but hopefully on the...

This little gem of a Mexican restaurant and bakery is located in a strip mall off of one of the main streets of Fallon, Nevada right next door to CC Communications.

Went in for a quick lunch. Had 2 carne asada tacos that were out of this world good. Reminds me of the authentic Mexican food you can find in Southern California. The salsa was really good too. Couple that with a horchata and you are in Latino Heaven!

Also had the chicken tacos, beans and rice. They serve menudo on the weekends - I need to remember that for the next time I come in.

People working there are very nice.

I found out that Tuesdays are the days when the have fresh Mexican pastries.
