When I need a break from cooking but still crave something fresh and flavorful, Uzumaki is my no-brainer choice. This little spot opened in 2024 and has been quietly serving up terrific Asian comfort food ever since.
My ride-or-die order is the beef & broccoli--cranked up to their "spicy" level. The sauce is rich and garlicky, the broccoli stays bright-green with just the right snap, and the kitchen is always happy to dial the heat so it lands in that perfect tingly-but-not-painful zone. Pair it with their creamy Thai tea (trust me, don't skip it) and you've got the ultimate cozy-night-off combo.
Service is consistently warm and lightning-fast--even on busy Friday evenings. The dining room is small but spotless, and I've never waited long for a table. The staff checks in without hovering, refills drinks before you can think to ask, and always sends me home with extra chili oil when I grab take-out.
Here's my only dilemma: Uzumaki still feels like Fallon's best-kept secret, which means I can usually sneak in without a crowd... but they deserve a full house every night. So consider this your nudge--whether you're after ramen, Mongolian beef, or my beloved spicy beef & broccoli, give them a visit and show them some love. Bottom line: hidden gem vibes, big-flavor dishes, and the friendliest team in town. Let's keep them thriving--just save me a seat...
Read moreFor a Japanese restaurant, I was surprised to see that the menu didn’t have any Japanese food besides miso soup and ramen.
The food is, unfortunately, quite terrible. All of the dishes that we tried from the lunch menu were covered in copious amounts of sauce that made it a goopy disaster. We upgraded a couple of our meals to include chow mein, which had no flavor and was rather doughy. The fried rice was stale, greasy, and it was likely made with frozen or canned vegetables. The miso soup was excessively salty and the top of the soup was covered in oil (unusual unless it was sesame oil, but I didn’t taste sesame).
We also tried the mussel appetizer, which was, again, covered in sauce - probably spicy mayo and sriracha.
I spent a month in Japan and I’m Asian myself, so trust me when I say that this place is ripping you off for the quality and price of the food. I would honestly rather eat package ramen noodles than try eating here again. The only saving grace is that our waitress was quite...
Read moreMy wife and I just ate here and we were pleasantly surprised with how great everything was. Only downside is price, but you know when you eat good Asian food you get what you pay for. We ordered some Japanese nachos which were great. Highly recommend. Came with 8. Crab mix on top of tempura seaweed. With Teriyaki. I ordered the Naruto Ramen Bowl because I mean you can't go to a place named after Naruto Uzumaki and not get the entree named after him at least once. It was pretty good. I don't remember all that was in it, but the broth was super good. It had pork belly in it, but for me I couldn't taste it very much. Not a bad thing because all the other flavors were so good. Highly recommend. My wife ordered the Chicken ramen and that was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Both had mushrooms, soft boiled egg, sprouts, seaweed, and green onions. Great all around experience! Bill came to $49 which isn't bad...
