I ordered through the app at 6:15pm, for a 6:50 pickup (the last time I ordered for pickup in 10 minutes, but ended up waiting a half an hour - so I ordered extra early to give them time to prepare my order).
The drive-thru wasn’t moving at all, so I went inside to pickup my order. I understand that many restaurants have been understaffed due to the pandemic, but the kitchen was a disaster. Half of the employees were doing nothing, while the other half were running around aimlessly.
Many of the people who had placed orders (either online or in-person) waited over an hour. I eventually got my food (a single quesadilla that I ordered at 6:15) at 7:33pm. To frustrate the situation further, some people were walking in off of the street to order and got their food immediately.
After it had been an hour, I asked one of the guys working if my order was being prepared. He snapped back and said “No, we’re a half an hour behind”. When I explained that it had already been over an hour, he said “Well, then I guess we’re an hour behind then!”.
The discombobulated staff asked me my name no less than 6 times. All of the people that ordered already were stuck there - waiting for the food we’d already paid for. Meanwhile, the staff were completing brand new walk-in and drive-thru orders.
Suggestions: Chipotle should update their app to reflect current wait times when ordering (or even temporarily suspend ordering from locations that are running behind).
I don’t think there was a manager on duty (if there was, you couldn’t tell). There were only 5 or 6 kids working, and none of them had drive or initiative (when there wasn’t any customers waiting to order, some of the employees were just standing around - instead of helping to complete orders or clean up the kitchen).

When I went through the drive thru to pick it up, the worker asked for my name, I gave it to them and he proceeded to say “we don’t have an order under that name” and slammed the sliding door in my face and walked away. I parked and went inside, and told the staff member at the counter that I placed an order, had the confirmation number, that DoorDash said it was being prepped, and everything on my phone and showed it to him. The staff member from the drive thru window proceeded to come back over, and yell at me and the front counter worker “I told him we don’t have an order under that name!” And continued with side remarks and looks. The front counter worker went and looked at the computer to look for my order and goes “it’s right here guys.” The two staff members working at the window proceeded to talk under their breath at me, and give me dirty looks even though they were in the wrong. No apologies or anything from the two drive thru workers. Just from the Front counter worker who was in no wrong. Not only did I have to deal with horrible customer service, but they then proceeded to botch my entire order. Very unprofessional and will not be going back to this location. Read moreLike the other negative reviews here, I also can attest that this location isn't clean. I had to stop the burrito-maker (who to his defense, seem to be a newer employee) to ask him to clean the counter-top because it was wet and dirty with bean juice all over the place. He seemed a little annoyed by that request, but after two attempts at cleaning up a simple wet spill, he finally got it. I also want to note that this employee did not wash his hands before putting gloves back on, but he had gloves on so I continued with the order. I want to stress to the owner/management that, based on my experience and reading the other negative reviews here, there needs to be better training and adequate supervision of the employees/restaraunt here. Otherwise, just close up shop. It's not like we're getting this food for free, us customers are PAYING hard earned money, not only for the food, but also for customer service and (at bare minimum) a clean meal prep environment.
