Had a wonderful two night stay here over Memorial Day weekend in May 2025. Was my first time in North Dakota and my 50th state visited. Loved the proximity to the Fargo airport, and their free shuttle service from/to airport was fast and fantastic. Daniel was super friendly and we had a nice conversation about my travels around USA. The buffalo statue right outside the hotel's entrance was a very nice touch and a fun welcome to their property.||||The hospitality and friendliness of every single staff member here really stood out (front desk, breakfast, housekeeping, & shuttle). Was welcomed as a Hilton Diamond Member. Room was well appointed and very clean. The only minor negative to my room (404) was a strange musty smell like mildew each time you entered room. I suspect it was coming from AC. I got used to it though, and it did not bother me.||||Bed and couch were quite comfortable; property was quiet. Slept wonderfully. Television channel selection along with streaming capabilities were excellent. Enjoyed their breakfast. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty, especially the breakfast quiche. Coffee was really good too and a great way to start day. Used their fitness center both nights, and it has a solid elliptical machine along with free weights. Didn't get a chance to try their indoor pool or whirlpool. Did enjoy their outdoor patio with nice night lighting. Perfect spot to escape with a good book and enjoy their heavenly summer weather.||||Couldn't have asked for a better location to explore the Fargo Air Museum (right next door) or the North Dakota State campus (right across street) all by foot. I had a lovely view of the Fargodome from my room. Lots of great restaurants right next door (Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Taco Bell, Burger King, Subway, & McDonald's) along with a CVS pharmacy. Quick, short ride by Uber to the Fargo Visitors Center where you can get certified for visiting your 50th state and inducted into the "Best for Last Club." Recommend this property along with Fargo, ND quite highly! They did...
Read moreLet me start with all the good. The staff was outstanding! The front desk staff was very attentive to requests via phone or in person, and were at the desk within a few seconds when I approached with a question. I've been to other hotels where the staff would be in the back and mosey out when they felt like it, but here they came out immediately as someone approached the desk. The hotel location was great for me: close to the airport and right next to several restaurants. I only got breakfast twice at the hotel during my 5-night stay, but the food always seemed to be stocked full and hot. The scrambled eggs and sausages were plentiful and tasty! The room was very comfortable and spacious. I tended to leave later in the morning, so housekeeping didn't get in most days. I asked pretty late one day if they could get to my room and they were able to get everything cleaned and changed out despite the late request. Outstanding!||There were only two negatives, and one is more of an opinion thing. The pillows. Oof! Super soft. Way too super soft. They provided no support. I really struggled to find a comfortable way to sleep on them. Granted, if you love a super soft pillow that your head falls through to the mattress, these are right up your alley! The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows left a lot to be desired.||The only thing that was honestly unacceptable was the state of some of the dishes in the kitchen in my room. Pulling out the coffee cups, it was clear they were not washed or even rinsed. Three of the four still had coffee marks in them. (See photos) They cleaned easily when run through the dishwasher, so they weren't simply stained. I love having actual dishes to use when I visit a hotel, but they really need to be clean if they're in the cupboard.||Overall, this was a great stay! I'll definitely consider staying again next time I'm in...
Read moreMy friends and I had an amazing experience at the Homewood Suites Fargo!! We came to Fargo for the Pink concert and were planning on staying both Friday and Saturday night. When we checked in to the hotel we had originally booked we had an awful experience!! The room was disgusting and did not accommodate 3 people, which we had been told it would, never mind the whole experience had horror movie vibes!! Frantically we started calling hotels! I called Homewood (totally oblivious to the fact that it was across the street from the Fargodome!!) and they had a room!!! The lovely woman at the front desk took my name and held the room until we got there!! When we checked in we were SO relieved!! The hotel is beautiful and it was so clean!! We were thrilled! She did let us know that they were completely booked for the night after the concert but we were so happy to have a safe place to sleep we were thrilled!! The next day we had a lovely breakfast at the hotel. Before we went back up to our rooms we checked to see if there had been any cancellations for the next night, sadly we were out of luck. We said we would ask again before checkout just incase things changed. We got ready for the day and prepared for the three hour plus drive home after the concert but we were still so thankful for at least one night in this lovely hotel. Just before we started to pack up the room I called to check if by some miracle there had been a cancellation. To our thrill and amazement there had been!! We were in tears we were SO happy!! We spent the rest of the day thrilled and with no stress about the long drive in the middle of the night!! We had the most amazing weekend and Homewood was a huge part of it!! Walking back (yes it was just a short walk away!!) after the concert we were SO happy!!!! I can’t express enough how happy getting to stay here...
