This is the most disappointed I've been with Taco Johns. Around 11:15 a.m. I ordered 3 hard shells and a large potato (plain). I drove about 5 minutes to home and this has to be the worst order I have gotten. The hardshells had been sitting so long that just holding them the shells were getting squishy and soft, almost fell apart. The potatoes were terrible, looked and tasted like they had sat since yesterday. ended up throwing most of it away. Not sure when I'll stop at another. I usually frequent Taco Johns but now I am not sure if and when I'll go back. I tried to call them several times and the phone just rings until I get a message saying to enter some kind of code. I hung up both times.
It's been about a month since I wrote the review above, it was the most disappointing stop I had made there and I frequent this Taco Johns a lot and I wasn't sure I would go back. Well, today I was close by and it to me a bit but I thought I'd give them another chance. At the drive-up a girl answered and asked what I wanted. I asked if every thing was fresh and she asked me why. I explained to her and gave her the same message as what I typed above. I was about to order and she came on the intercom and said that whatever I wanted to order today would be a no cost. I asked for potato's with no seasoning, she said she would make a fresh batch just for me and I ordered 3 tacos and large Coke as well. And again she told me that there WOULD BE NO COST FOR MY ORDER. She wanted to make very sure that after what I told her earlier that I would be satisfied with This order. with that kind of service....I will go back and frequent this store again. Read moreI would give zero stars if it would let me. My boyfriend, our two children and myself went there last night. We placed our order at 7:08 according to the receipt. We got our drinks and sat down and waited. And we waited some more. We could hear the employees in the kitchen laughing and goofing around and even discussion our order, but we continued to wait. We were the only people in the dining room and no one was in the drive thru. After about 15 minutes a man came in and placed a to go order. He was in and out in less than 2 minutes. We continued to wait. No food. Finally at thirty minutes I went to counter. I demanded a refund so we could go eat elsewhere. The poor kid at the counter couldn't understand why. I explained we had ordered our food a half an hour ago and still hadn't received it. He couldn't believe that no one cooked our food because they "just went on break." He apologized and offered to make our food but I told him we simply wanted a refund, which he happily gave us. I will never go back and highly recommend to anyone who asks to steer clear of...
Read moreI understand why some places have closed their dining rooms. Please let us come in to place our orders. This is the third time in a row I have had to use the drive through. All three times they have gotten the order wrong. They charge me for what I order but fail to give it to me. How hard is it to look at the order placed and actually give the food listed? I will not be back until you open the inside for me to place my order so I can check it when you give it to me. No, I don't want a coupon for later. I'm happy to pay for what I order. I just expect to get what I order and pay for. I don't think that's unreasonable. We tried to call them 4 times after I got home. They didn't answer the phone either.
