I just had the worst experience ever. To start, I haven't been to Smoothie King in so long time because of making my own shakes but am needing to restock on my veggies and fruits. So this morning, I thought it would be the perfect day to get one from Smoothie King, it's Friday, why not?! David, who has now made himself known to me as the manager, took my order and made me feel bad for not knowing exactly why I wanted. I was trying to decided on what veggie I wanted to add to the smoothie. I choose to get a 32oz (promo buy one get one free another day) slim-n-trim vanilla (banana) add kale. He rudely interrupted me talking to another person asking for them to help the guest behind me in an annoyed tone. I finished by asking to make sure there wasn't any additional milk and he pointed to the menu stating there isn't any milk in there, as to make me feel stupid. A couple of hours later I've barely been able to get the drink down because of it tasting weird and my stomach starts hurting really bad making me feel sick and rushing to the restroom. I called the location, David answered and I explained the concern with hopes to exchange the drink. His response was No, especially if you just don't like it. I reiterated that I was sick after drinking it and he responded with there's nothing here that would get anyone sick, you're more than welcome to come in and buy another. I asked if he was the manager, then for his first and last name. He only gave me his first and said I could call corporate for the rest. Needless to say, that's what I plan to do. Read moreOwner of this location is rude and has an anger issue. I walked in with my mask but under my nose. He said pull it up, so as I was pulling it up a friend walked in. I turned around and said hello, but friend had a no mask on and owner said GET OUT! I am calling the POLICE! So my friend left. As I was trying to place an order he told me to leave even though I had my ask up as he requested. I stated that I have a mask on why not serve me. He mumbled and said he dont want to. I said can I have the owners name. With arrogance, he said I am the owner! Wow! So I told him I was reporting his behavior with me to Corporate.. I was guilty by association and not sure if a race card should be pulled on being kicked out of this store.
