Perhaps the most mis-managed Blake's in the state, which is unfortunate being that this is a new, state-of- the art facility. To say this place is unbelievably slow, would be an understatement. You would be better off to drive to any other location across town, or to a neighboring city; you would likely get your food faster!
I waited in the drive-thru for 42 minutes for a hamburger, breakfast burrito, and french fries. The manager's excuse was that they received a large call in order, and it was the only reason he was there. Being there or not, he obviously was inept and unable to manage the situation. With the 8-9 employees that I observed, this location is overstaffed and still unable to handle a large output of food that resembles anything of quality. Having waited so long, my food was cold by the time I received it, and my burrito was inedible due to the uncooked bacon and the raw potatoes it contained (picture attached).
Additionally, the staff were unable to work two drive-thru lanes, resulting in cars having to back out of one lane and use the only lane where staff were taking orders. Between that frustration and the wait times, I watched 4 cars drive off.
That said, I enjoy Blake's, but I won't be back to this location. I hope this can be resolved because as of right now, this location give the entire corporation a bad name. They don't even deserve a one star...
Read moreI don't normally share negative reviews as I believe every business is entitled to redeem itself during the next opportunity to get service at that location. However in this particular instance I feel IT'S at least relevant that I post your review regarding my most recent experience. I called in my order at exactly 10:25 a.m., got ahold of the call center placed my order gave em my name and proceeded to the restaurant. Upon arriving at 10:54 I proceeded to the front desk and asked for my food by Name. Is the guy working at the front desk told me he doesn't have an order by that name and that their system has been down for 2 hours I was not told this by the call center when I placed my order. I politely asked him if they could go ahead and make my food as it was very much before 11:00 a.m., the cut off time in which they stopped serving breakfast however he proceeded to tell me that they had called an end to breakfast early and they didn't have enough hashbrowns to make me too burritos. I politely asked him if he could at least check to see if he could make me a burrito, he said they have 19 orders ahead of me and that he could get me one tomorrow! What ever happened to the customer is always right?! This is the second or third time this has happened to me with blakes and I am not sure I'll...
Read more1st time at this location & pretty positive it'll be the last. Oh where to start... Calling in to place our order is ridiculous, it's all automated. Wound up getting transferred to an actual person BUT from some other place than the actual store itself. Idk if this is a thing nowadays. We get to the store which already had a line. By the time we finished paying at the window, we had to park & wait. Paid pretty much $20 for 2 breakfast meals. Weren't given our drinks at the time either. Waited about 10 mins. Went inside only to wait another 5 mins. Got our order. (When I do have Blake's its always from West Main or Broadway. Sometimes Bloomfield Hwy. They know what they're doing & how to handle a rush.) Anyway, got a regular sausage burrito with extra cheese. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a 2 or 3 years since my last breakfast burrito... Buuuuuut wasn't it scrambled eggs in the burrito? I received a fried egg. Also it was like an Easter egg hunt for the sausage bits, Less than 'hardly' any. When I got to my soda, it was carbonated. Went back to get that fixed. . . I've been in the fast food business, so I do understand it's could just be one of them days. It just wasn't how I remembered or what thought I was gonna be able to relive lol...
