Live a couple minutes away and thought it was a good place. Very expensive - you can go to other coffee shops and save a lot of money. The atmosphere and the food is fine . What caused me to decide to put Blue Hat coffee on my permanent S-list was the unbelievable experience of coming in two days in a row, spending approximately $17 each day and asking for a cup of water to take a pill and barista said $.75. She pointed to a amall sign that said cup of ice $.75 I told her I didnβt want any ice, just a little courtesy cup of water. She refused. I asked for her manager and she said thereβs the owner. I said Bill, can you help me out? I just need to take a pill I was forced into the disgusting bathroom to drink tap water, I threw out my pastry and left.
Do you want to go to a place where the chintzy short sighted owner looks at a paying customer who will spend close to $1000 a year there, and begrudge him a courtesy cup of water for a pill ? The guy obviously cares about his profits but not this customer. He looks at you as a profit center and not a person, I can understand the policy for somebody coming in off the street, but a good paying repeat customer who comes in often? I shall never return and neither will my family or friends. I am a retired attorney, and my girlfriend is a physician and we will never make the mistake of going...

Not as flaky as some other coffee houses once warmed, but certainly satisfying to bite into. Many of their baked items are house-made! βοΈ Staff The baristas and owner are friendly, and may check in to make sure you are enjoying your lounge-time and breakfast. βοΈ Cost The cost is fair depending on the item and most are better than other coffee houses nearby. Their croissant being one in particular I am most happy with; just a little over $4 for buttery goodness. βοΈ Atmosphere Mostly chairs, but also sofas and couch near entrance. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of gentle lighting with chandeliers. Artwork on every wall. Jewelry art displayed too. Β Β Β Read moreIf youβre looking for a space to sit and work or read a book, this is the best place in Farmington as it has the most seating options. I was unfortunately unimpressed by the coffee and service. I ordered a fresh brew and because it was no longer hot, the server used the steam wand of the espresso machine to heat it up. This signals to me that the brew has been sitting there for quite some time. Not only that, the lattes were way over frothed and the server was uninformed on how to make one of the drinks they were advertised. I hate to be a harsh critic, but I was sad to experience this as this place has so many...
