Today (06/18/2022) at approximately 2:01pm I called in a takeout order for my family. Upon calling The Dona Maria restaurant for my order I was greeted by a female with poor customer service. During the conversation her choice of words felt neglectful, her tone was condescending and she didn’t give me a total and did not properly confirm my order. When I arrived at the restaurant my order was not ready because she forgot the beans and rice and the cost was also significantly more expensive then advertised on the menu (I suppose that’s because inflation) but it would have been nice to have been advised of the price change. When I get home to feed my family we discovered that the menudo did not come with any oregano or cilantro even tho I specifically requested that be included and also instead of the Tripa tacos we got Chicharones tacos. I called the restaurant to notify and get my order corrected and was greeted by the same individual who then claimed that management was not on duty. I explained the situation and she advised me that my order was correct and that I thought I had chicharones because my tripa was overcooked. I asked why I was served overcooked food and she told me she didn’t know and asked if would like something else and I told her I would like the Asada instead she advised me it would be ready when I arrived and when I arrived she told me that I couldn’t possibly get chicharone tacos because they didn’t serve that even though it’s written on menu and they only give exchanges if I brought back the other food. I understand the reasoning but I feel that should have been made a point during the phone call. I don’t feel like driving back into Farmington from Flora Vista so i’m gonna give up right here. I’m really disappointed with the way things turned out because they have a decent menudo but not at the price...
Read moreMy family went in after softball ceremonies. We were starving. We were excited because of the expansion and new look. Usually great food and service. However today.... was terrible. First the host, a young man, gave bit of an attitude. It was more of a look and reluctance more than words. Then our waitress, a young lady with lighter eyes and black hair, took our order. We had our drinks and chips delivered and waited for our food. As we were waiting for our order, another family came in and sat down next to us. They ordered their food, ate it and left. We were still waiting. Never once did our server check on us to see if we needed refills or more chips. We asked about our food. Apparently our "ticket" was misplaced. We ended up leaving without eating because we had other prior events to attend. Our kids left pretty hungry and upset. They decided not to charge us for the drinks. My boyfriend called after we left to speak to the manager. They did not seemed bothered by this. And thanked us for "letting them know." Normally we are really easy going and understand things happen. However this was...
Read moreMy fiance and I just moved to the area from Arizona. I have been looking for an authentic breakfast burrito with chorizo and most don't serve chorizo. But we listened to the Google reviews and decided to go check it out. Very quaint Mexican restaurant/fast food reminded me of Arizona right when we walked through the door. From what I saw they make their own tortillas, chips and salsa. So I ordered a chorizo, egg, cheese and potatoes burrito with green sauce on the side and my girl ordered the bacon breakfast burrito smothered in green chilie sauce. After I paid I noticed the empinadas they have displayed at the counter and decided to again listen to the Google reviews and but a few. I must say this is hands down the best authentic Mexican breakfast burritos place in Farmington. I will most definitely come back to have lunch or dinner to try out their full menu. Keep up the good work guys very very...
