Berg Park has many different facets. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Berg Park. It has a beautiful main path along with many other jut offs, nature trails and stops. It has plenty of bench areas for resting and taking in the gorgeous views. However, I will say, be cautious of the bench area just after the bridge. When we were there, we stopped because a number of different water fowl were near the shore on the water. The bench being a good distance from shore, we sat down. Only to be approached quite quickly by a hoard or hangry birds. Triple digit number of birds... coming at us like, "Yo! Where's the food Jack?!" There are many different areas to the park, including a Skate park and an Excerise park near the children's play area. Along the trails is a War memorial as well. Which is very beautifully done. I unfortunately did not have the time to explore as much of the park as I would have liked but I'm certainly glad I stopped and I look forward to visiting it again in the future. When I will be sure to give myself more time to enjoy all this Park has to offer. I highly recommend stopping here. You'll be...

This is a great time of year (spring/early summer/fall) for a walk in the park or a float down the river.
Over on the Browning Pkwy side there are Prairie dogs that are so adorable to watch! We fed them organic kale, celery, carrots and lettuce (this is much better then the bread or junk food that some people feed them). Not that we should be feeding the wildlife but at least give them something healthy to munch on if you must.
If you’re on the Browning Pkwy side, check out the Animal shelter. They are always looking for good dog walkers. All you need is an ID and who knows maybe you’ll find a new furry friend.
This park is 13 acres and many people come and go throughout the day. Awareness of your surroundings is always the best option if you go alone. Bring a friend or two is a better option! Not that this park isn’t safe but it’s always better to...

As I walked the pathway I spotted a couple of deer, birds (Magpies, Ravens, Nuthatches, Finches & Warblers) and even a couple of raccoons crossed the walkway further up the trail. The locals were enjoying the picnic areas, the river and jogging or walking the paths.
Berg Park is a great park to spend some leisure time. The pathway is impressive in its...
