Chip Cookies — Restaurant in Farmington

Poor customer service! I ordered some cookies on Chip's website intending to click "delivery". The website kept bumping me to "pick up". After the order was placed, I noticed that indeed it was set as a pick up order. I tried calling the store and the chip employee on the phone said she was unable to cancel my order for me, and that her manager had to do that. So I called back in when the manager was there and she also said she couldn't cancel the order and that it was impossible for anyone to order anything on their website except catering (this was false because I did in fact place an order on their website.) She told me I had to contact a regional person through email. I did this 3 days ago, and I've had no response. I wish I could have picked up the order but I live 300 miles away, and so I ended up going through Door Dash and ordering cookies from Dirty Dough to be delivered, which worked great. However, it was a disappointment that my order from Chip was a complete waste of money. Used to love the cookies. I used to be an employee here too. I was once store manager here and they treated everyone horribly. Didn’t care about mental health whatsoever. Made me come back to work 2 days after my grandfathers funeral or threatened to fire me. Absolutely don’t recommend anything from here. Cookies were good when I first tried chip but now they’re dry and honestly hard as a rock by the time they get to my house. This place disgusts me with the way they treat their employees and with how they let their stores sell dry cookies. Really hope they step up their game with HR soon. Because this is ridiculous. First they were nothing but rude to a pregnant employee and fired her then went on and treated everyone else the same. Promised raises and never gave them, took tips from employees and not letting full time employees work a full 40 hours a week. Just a horrible place really. Paid for cookies, never got them, and they ghosted me. Used their app and ordered cookies to be delivered for our first time. An hour after the expected delivery time and they still hadn't arrived so I called the store. It sent me straight to a voicemail that said they were closed. They were definitely still open. I called multiple times and emailed and got no response. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, that they closed early due to a power outage or something but if that was the case there was no mention anywhere on social media. My card was charged and I never received anything and haven't heard from anyone. We waited till midnight (based on reviews saying their cookies showed up hours after the scheduled arrival) then went to bed frustrated.
