First time eating at this restaurant at night. The hostess was very rude, didn't greet us or anything, just asked how many was in our party and took off to one side of the restaurant without us. Then she stopped to talked to a server for a good minute with no regard to us, then continued to a row of empty tables and told us we'd be served soon. We didn't know which table we were supposed to be at, so we just chose one to sit at. The waitress came, who also didn't greet us, and asked what we wanted to drink. When she came back with the drinks, which was quick and one of the only positive things about our experience, she immediately asked us what we wanted to eat. We had barely even looked through the menu yet, and told her we needed a couple minutes. All she said was "Kay" and left us alone. When we decided, it took her another 15 minutes to come back to our table, and when she did come back, she said with quite emphasis, "Did we FINALLY figure out what we want?"
So we got our food, very quickly which was another great thing, but the food was bland and tasteless. We were given chips and salsa to munch on while we waited: they were stale and had no salt. I had the bacon cheeseburger and there was only a small dollop of cheese in the middle with one piece of bacon, and a huge bun. Every time I took a bite, all I could taste was bread. The waitress never came back to our table to see how we were doing or if we needed refills on drinks or anything. My boyfriend had to get up and go find her in order to get our bill.
We left 30 minutes later and went to pay at the register with the hostess, who was still rude and short with us, and did not leave us with a goodbye, but rather a "here you go, next customer in line" parting. I do not want to return to...
Read moreService from our waitress was excellent but the food was horrible. My daughter had the Le Wee French which is 1 piece of thin, hard French Toast for $9 with 2 pieces of bacon... definitely not worth the price. Other Child had a make your omelet, the omelet was thin and runny, toast was extremely hard and the hashbrowns were raw, they were hard and unpleasant, and the vegetables were watery within the omelet my daughter was disappointed and had a difficult time eating it. I have two sons one dad the fish and chips they were decent. My other son had a bacon cheese burger, the meat was tough and burnt. I had the steak finger meal, the steak fingers were good but the gravy was gross, very hard as if it sat out all day and the quality of the gravy was horrible I've had way better gravy at Dairy Queen. Baked potato was okay but the choice vegitable was corn, it had a plastic like texture and tasted gross. The soup of the day was posole, that was the best thing I ate. The restaurant was dirty, cups, silverware and plates all had crusty residue and bad water spots as if they were rushed through instead of being cleaned properly for consumers. Bathroom, stunk and needs work. I paid $97.05 for my family's meal, I will not be returning ever again. It was a very bad experience, I remained polite because our waitress was very kind, but the management needs to step up there quality especially with the prices posted. The quality of food served and the dirty atmosphere is not worth the prices that are posted. The business was not busy most of the waiters were standing around talking I expected way more from this business but instead my family and I...
Read moreThis place is so cute! The decor inside is nice and keeps you busy looking around as you wait for your food. I ordered the chicken fried steak with french fries and my wife ordered the BLT with onion rings. Our food came out in what seemed to be a reasonable amount of time. My wife's BLT was good and what you would expect for a BLT other than placed right next to the sandwich with all of its juices were 3 pickle slices. For someone who doesnt like pickles at all, that made a couple of bites of her bread soaked in juices that she didnt want. No worries, she wouldnt have been able to eat the whole thing anyway. Her onion rings were also good and crispy. My chicken fried steak and french fries also came with veggies. I took a bite of those first and decided I didn't care for them. They were overcooked to my liking and not seasoned much at all. I took my first (and only) bite of my chicken fried steak and it was DELICIOUS!!!! The cream gravy had just the right flavor and consistency and the steak was fried up so crispy. And that's when I saw it... a very long and very black hair woven through my french fries (that I hadn't had a chance to taste yet) and my veggies. And that was pretty much the end of my meal. I just can't go back there again. I'm giving it 3 stars because the food was really delicious and the staff was very friendly and did a great job. When we notified them of the hair, they apologized and asked if I'd like it remade or taken off the bill. I obviously chose to...
