We always drove past Vindu's thinking we should stop by here sometime, until yesterday we finally decide to act on it. We thought it's midweek so the restraurant wouldn't be much busy, but we entered just to be greeted by full house bustling with people. Every table was taken and the last empty one, was ours. The restraurant being busy on a Wednesday evening just goes on to show how much of a people's favorite it is. My reviews are always honest and from the heart, so when I feel a restraurant truly deserves the appreciation, I go all out. Indian restaurants in USA are usually a hit or miss, very rarely you come across an indian restraurant that tentalizes your indian tastebuds. (If you are someone who knows what authentic indian food tastes like, you know what I'm talking about) I am so glad, that Vindu doesn't disappoint. It was a pleasant revelation for us, to stumble upon Vindu. I kept thinking why didn't we come here earlier?!! Everything that we tried was really good. No complains on the food whatsoever. They also offer an extensive drinks menu. They had a party of a big group going on the evening we dined, but in no way were we felt ignored, we were well attended and the food was served very nicely. One thing, I have realized for a restraurant to truly make their mark, its not just the food, its also how you make your diners feel that really etches on their experience and forms a big part of them wanting to visit again. Vindu's staff does a great job, at ensuring you have a great experience. Right from our attendant, the servers every one was so diligent. Special mention to Mr. Shivi for his exceptional people management skills, this restraurant is going to go a long way. I will definitely recommend this one to all my friends. Because along with the food, the staff is also very attentive which I truly liked. Most indian restraurant staff have a 'I couldn't care less' attitude. As though they are doing us a huge favor by waiting on us. But Vindu is different. Vindu makes you want to keep visiting back again. Quick mention on what we tried, and can vouch for. The veg manchurian was ace. So was the Banjara kebab, sweet corn veg soup reminded me of india's typical restraurant style soup. Then we also tried the amravati biryani and vijaywada biryani both were great. And yes, their mysore masala dosa is a must try. I look forward to trying other items on the menu in my upcoming visits.

Worst experience with the staff and the worst food. We visited this restaurant yesterday at 9:30 pm. There was a lady and a manager at the counter. Initially, they told us they were closing, and we are about to leave but then the manager said he would check with the kitchen first before taking our order. After checking, he said it was okay to order. The lady then took our order, and when I was about to look at the menu, she suggested we try their special chicken biryani. We agreed and requested it to be spicy. After placing the order, they seated us at a table. Five minutes later, they brought the biryani to our table. As we started serving ourselves, we noticed a lot of raw chili paste in the dish. After just two bites, we realized it tasted like we were eating biryani with nothing but chili paste. We called the manager and showed him, but he simply said that's how they make it when customers ask for spicy food. He added that they usually don't add that much chili, but since we came just 30 minutes before closing, the staff might have been frustrated and overdid it. When I tried talking to the manager further, he simply ignored us and told someone else to bring us a different biryani. They didn’t offer any other options or listen to our concerns. They didn’t come to our table for payment, so we went to the counter to pay, where they just charged us without saying anything after removing the special chili paste chicken biryani.

My family and I went out for dinner and ordered a variety of dishes: poori masala, paratha with chicken curry and goat curry, veg Hakka noodles, chicken Hakka noodles, and a chicken starter. The chicken dishes were particularly impressive, both flavorful and spicy. However, our experience with the veg Hakka noodles was disappointing. They were overcooked, lacking in flavor, and surprisingly lacking vegetables—it felt like plain, overcooked noodles. When we brought this to the manager's attention, he apologized for the mistake and offered a nrw one later. Unfortunately, when I decided to order poori sabzi as an alternative, it took an additional hour to arrive at our table. By then, everyone else in my family had finished eating, leaving me disappointed and hungry. The poori itself was quite good, but the accompanying sabzi didn't quite meet our expectations of authenticity. I would give 1 star for the sabzi. Bybwdding too much spices they totally spoiled the dish. Overall, our visit left us feeling underwhelmed. However, the male server was very attentive and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Despite the standout chicken dishes, the overcooked, flavorless veg Hakka noodles, and the delayed poori sabzi tarnished the experience. This restaurant seems somewhat overhyped considering the mixed quality of the food and service.

We had the pleasure of dining here for dinner tonight, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food, service, and atmosphere were all absolutely top-tier. The soup was a delightful surprise—its unique flavor profile was unlike anything we’ve tasted before, and it was a standout dish. General Manager himself, Shivi, truly made the evening memorable. Not only did he deliver impeccable service, but he also took the time to craft a cocktail based on his own special recipe. What impressed me even more was his genuine passion for both the quality of the food and the well-being of his customers. The drink was a refreshing, sugar-free concoction—no syrups, just pure, healthy ingredients. It’s clear that Shivi takes great pride in serving not just great food, but also in promoting healthier choices. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines great taste, thoughtful service, and a commitment to health-conscious ingredients, I highly recommend giving Vindu Indian Bar & Banquet be given a visit!

DON’T DINE IN! Guys you should close down the dine in option. Outrageous wait times. OUTRAGEOUS! It’s sad to see my favorite Reataurent going down in service so bad that I have to update my solid 5 star review with a barely 1 star. I have been here very frequently over last one year. Their service is extremely deteriorated. Often have to wait for the food hot an hour or so. This applies to take out and dine in too. They often give wrong orders for take outs. Terrible experience. —— Old review: Great service, ambiance and they have a full bar too. Food was amazing! Good choices of southern and northern Indian cuisine. I went here in a group of 5 and we tried many dishes. Idli, dosa were awesome! One of the best in Mi. Mango lassi, gulabjamun, goat roganjosh, naan, everything hit the right spot! I’m quite happy with the food! Right after our dinner, my friends placed a party order for the next day .. so I ate their food two days in a row.. and I’m definitely coming back very soon.
