After coming home from a trip away we came through the drive thru to get lunch for my son. The order was taken properly according to the receipt. Got the order at the window and didn't check it (big mistake). When we got home realized only 3 of the 6 items were in the bag and 1 of the items want correct. So i called and spoke with the manager Kayola. I described what happened and she told me i had to bring all the food back today for a refund. She said you didn't just come thru the drive thru that was 40 minutes ago. I told her we came thru waited on our order, drove home, unpacked our car and called out son down to eat. Doesn't change the fact the order was wrong. I asked if we could come by tomorrow and get the rest of our order and she told me only if i bring in the food we recieved today. How ridiculous is that?? If i only have 2 items today then i will only have 2 items tomorrow! My son was hungry so he ate the 2 things that were correct. Kayola didn't offer to refund is for the missing items or to give us the opportunity to pick up the missing items tomorrow. It's raining and yucky out and we just got home for a trip... not up for returning to McDonald's right away for then to rectify their mistake. Kayola was extremely rude and hateful! She has no business working with people with such an attitude! My order total was just over $12 but it was her attitude and was extremely uncalled for! I asked her for a corporate phone number and she even gave me the wrong number! It's not about the money.... that was just totally uncalled for! Do yourself a favor... go to the McDonald's on...
Read morecan I please get the knoxville franchise owners number? Is there a zero rating? Worst service I've ever had at any McDonald's, waited at the drive thru microphone for about 10-15 minutes, then called the store to see if they were open when the manager starts yelling at employees to take orders from drive through, all while she is sitting in her car with a headset on and the phone(watched her walk back inside about 2 cars before I got to the window)they took about 3 orders from the other terminal and finally I said "hello" and got a response, the older gentleman that took my order and handed me my food was super polite and they even offered to comp my meal with for the family was a decent amount but I said no, I just want fresh food, fries are raw for the entire order 2 small and a medium which got upgraded to large, one of the fries was added with a couple double cheeseburgers and wasn't initially in the bag and she came to the window and asked me to open the bag and show her instead of just correcting the problem, she was in the wrong and gave them to the older gentleman who was great, instead of herself coming out, also a younger kid was behind the counter making his own drinks and I asked why he wasn't helping and he told me to relax and continued messing with his phone on the line and said he wasn't on the job, fix it asap, I watched about 15 cars leave some which I'm sure placed orders and food was cooked and just thrown away or taken to that...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this location for a little while (it’s convenient to where I live) and it’s passable for a McDonald’s. Today was my last time visiting. Apparently they were understaffed (they have been for quite some time) and had decided to close the lobby. The Taco Bell down the way does this a lot too, presumably for the same staffing reasons. The problem was that there were already people in the dining room after they decided to close the lobby. When I walked up someone else was walking out and I thought nothing of it. Used the self-serve kiosk like normal (they don’t usually screw up my order when I punch it in myself, as they have in the past at the counter) and got my food like normal. It all seemed fine. But then someone came out from the kitchen and started yelling at customers that the lobby was closed and to not let anyone in. Another would-be customer rightly called her out and said that since there’s no sign on the door, and people (like me) are sitting and eating, how are they to know. If you need to have the dining room closed, you need a sign on the door. Period. Yelling at customers is never appropriate, no matter how frustrated you may be. I’ll drive a couple more miles to another store in the future to avoid this one (you probably...
