WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON ERF

When I arrived the entrance is blocked because of Covid-19 and you have to order from outside (I completely understand that).

I place my order (30 wings & large salad) despite the trap music and cursing being done by the young lady taking my order and the cashier.

As I'm standing on the curb waiting for my order, the cashier who is also bagging orders is eating at the same time. She had an open container of ranch dressing I think (whatever comes with a green lid), and was dipping french fries into it. The french fries were on a fork but where was she laying the fork when she was simultaneously preparing food, eating, and handling money?

I was talking on the phone to my wife during this and was in complete disbelief. In my mind was trying to figure out if I'm going to ask for my money back or just take some food that I felt was unclean.

Luckily, the young lady told me there was something wrong with the salad order and she needed to refund me the salad money. I told her I would just take a complete refund because the cashier was behind the counter eating and bagging food at the same time. The cashier got a nasty attitude and mumbled something. The young lady who took my order asked me for my card so she could give me a refund. I told her I paid with cash. She looked at me like no you didn't. I had to convince her I paid with cash at which time she went to the cashier and said she didn't know how to give cash refunds.

After all of this, I was just going to take my money and leave, but as I am walking away they start to talk about me so I asked for the manager.

I’m sooooo freaking irritated. American Deli is my cheat meal so I ordered everything. I knew it would be an issue because my regular location is either East point or the one in THE FAYETTEVILLE PAVILION!! The one in the pavilion is literally the best. Back to my experience from this location. I ordered $50 worth of food. The wings were very hard and deformed. I did not enjoy my food at all. The Philly was extremely overcooked as well. Completely Burt & dry. They never chop it the way they’re supposed to giving fat slabs of tough steak . I’m soooo disappointed and will never if at this American deli again. So...They NEVER answer the phone for phone orders, and they try to give you a story saying the phone lines are “acting up”(which they weren’t)... I was told by an ex’s worker that the employees sometimes turn the ringer off(without the knowledge of the owners).so I walk in AS I’M calling...
