Mr. Everything Cafe — Restaurant in Fayetteville

So I'm trying to eat better. So instead of following my first mind and going to WNB next door. I see that this place is open I'm fresh outta church wife and baby in the car so I stop in. I've been to another location of Mr. Everything but it isn't a place I frequent although the food is consistently good and I haven't had a bad experience, they just take forever. But I think this would be different. There was no one there and two young ladies inside. Thank God the cashier lady was nice because after my total that was the only reason I didn't cancel my order and go to WNB...Maybe I didn't realize my last trip but ain't no way I spent 50 on two meals... with no drinks. I got the chicken healthy bowl and my wife is a pescatarian so I got her the salmon one. I was completely unaware that they charge separately for the bowl with rice and veggies and then the protein but the protein cost damn near the same as the bowl especially with the salmon being more than the bowl itself at $12. Now admittedly I ordered like I always have and didn't extensively read the menu. I knew the salmon was $12 but I thought that was the price for the entire bowl. Yo, I got that receipt and was thrown. I looked at it and was fuming. That's not a problem when you expect to spend it because I spend that much to eat out with my wife often but this one caught me off guard. And maybe that's normal but at the other location I go to, I don't think they do that... but it also comes with a drink. I won't be back... although they were nice. They were watching some terrible tubi movie and I did have to wait a while which I wasn't super thrilled about with my wife and baby in the car. But the food was good and that's why this review is days late. As I said I don't frequent this place enough to know if I was cheated or not but I definitely felt cheated. And I can admit that maybe this is how they all are but it's usually a ton of time between my visits. I will check out my normal location and see if I'm charged the same. Cause maybe I'm tripping. I was looking for a no meat salad and they have options. No one was in the store other than two workers, so there was no wait for me. The lady at the register didn’t say anything. Just waited for me to order/just very basic not helpful. The lady next to her was more cheerful and excited to make the salad and asked me all the questions that I thought the First lady should have. The walls are blank and the seating isn’t much and if you sit in the seating they have you’d be right in front of the register and they will be looking right at you eating which would be odd so I didn’t feel comfortable eating in the place. I just went to my car, there are two more tables, not directly in front of the register, but they have stock things on them. Restroom blank. Good decor goes a long way.

The salad, cold, fresh and abundant for a great price. I’d definitely come back and get the same exact salad. The dressings were plentiful, even though they only have average dressings, nothing housemaid or interesting. I can’t believe the food here is good, I just didn’t get that restaurant feeling. I am eating salads now and this place is close, good and priced right so I’ll be back. I will say the salad is an iceberg salad with spinach and maybe another green leaf. Iceberg is the cheapest but the salad taste good for it having iceberg in it. I’d rather more premium lettuce which is why I drive further for better quality salads, but...

First time visit ...I kept seeing my husband bring home plates from a different location that looked so good and I finally tried it but at the Fayetteville location, it was ok.. pretty good my expectations were high but I would have liked a little more seasoning. I ordered the salmon bowl.. forgot official name but vegetable bowl and you have a choice to add salmon, chicken, or steak...the salmon was good and fresh just a little plain tasting and it came with yellow rice, cheese, spinach, broccoli ..huge portion!!! Definitely enough for 2 people or 1 person to eat off twice! It's small restaurant not really ideal for sitting and eating there and when I went the wait was about 30 to 35 minutes!!!
