It was my 2nd time being here! My partners 1st. He was AMAZED! The atmosphere is nice, dim lights as expected for such a good rated restaurant! But the tables are too close to each other. LITERALLY elbow to elbow. The food was fine…but not great or even exceptional. I’m not sure if they meant to, but my partner and I had noodles that were NOT fully cooked. He got the basic Chicken Parmigiana. Limited him on sauce, even tho I asked for extra sauce for the appetizer but gave it back. Thinking the meal would actually have enough sauce!! My meal was subpar, I got the rigatoni with Italian sausage. Too greasy/oily, and the noodles weren’t fully cooked. It was Ash Wednesday, so everyone had crosses on their forehead, and it was so loud! Our server was very attendant, and was kind enough to check on us every 10 minutes(I counted) The lights kept flickering, which is subject to a seizure, if they even knew anything about that! The food is good, mediocre. I will go back, bc my partner enjoyed every aspect of it, and could see it as our anniversary dining from then on.

We went here for dinner and had a great experience. We came for the pizza and we were very pleased with our pizza and salad. It made for a nice light dinner and we even had some pizza left over to take back to the hotel with us. Our waiter, Joshua, did an amazing job. The seated four tables in his section back to back and yet he never lost his composure and made sure that each table had everything we needed. He worked smart and followed his system. The side salad was a great size and was more than just lettuce. The Gorgonzola dressing was the only thing that I would have changed, it was a little thin for my liking. The pizza was great. The sauce had great flavor and the toppings were delicious. Two of us ate off one pizza and still had pizza to take with us.

What a shame! Last week my husband and I went to Bocca to celebrate a special occasion. I was looking forward to having their wild mushroom ravioli, because I had it there once before and in my opinion it's the best thing on their menu. I checked their website to make sure they were serving it in fact. On a Thursday night they were surprisingly busy and in order to not wait, we decided to sit on the patio. Our waitress read through the specials - a steak, Mahi and spaghetti with meatballs. Nothing too interesting. I couldn't find the wild mushroom ravioli and was informed it had very recently been pulled from the menu. Talk about disappointed!! I ordered shrimp and crab ravioli, my husband a Margherita pizza. There was a mix-up in the kitchen and we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The Margherita pizza was swimming in sauce and it was marginal. I was perplexed about my ravioli, because I couldn't taste any shrimp, crab, in fact no seafood at all. The sauce wasn't bad, but it might as well have simply been over dense pasta. I ate a couple bites and boxed it for our Shepherds. The service and Prosecco was pretty good and the manager comped my entree for the extreme delay on our food. The signs were there, no mushroom ravioli, no food to our table, etc. We should have politely French dipped and hit Bordinos or Theo's. I can only hope Bocca will prioritize their menu once again. Word spreads fast in...

Despite their 4.3 star rating we decided to give this place a shot tonight. We had tickets to the symphony starting at 7:30 and figured getting to the restaurant at 6:00 would cover dinner. We were seated immediately and after a few minutes ordered wine and our meals. We could see the frustration from a few tables around us, but at that point had been enjoying our experience. After a longer than expected wait, bread and salads arrived. We noticed several other tables being sat around us who also received their bread and salad. Soon after the other tables began receiving food. Our waitress assured us ours was almost up. We continued to wait. Tables were sat, ate, paid, and left. We continued to wait. Our waitress said ours was almost up. What were we waiting for? Spaghetti and meatball. Not a complex special or unique dish. After 90 minutes, the symphony had started and yet we sat. Hungry and frustrated. Our waitress again explained how close our food was. After 94 minutes from when we were sat we gave up. I told the waitress we were leaving so we could catch the second half of the symphony. She said, ā€œoh, we can comp the foodā€. FOOD WE NEVER SAW. She charged me $70+ for our wine and we left. We’re having popcorn for dinner as we wait for intermission. Good Italian food is too easy to find in Fayetteville to waste your time with this spot. GO...
