The place is loud. Very loud. Maybe I'm an old man, but it's impossible to hear anyone in there. I get it. It's part of the vibe. Still, if people with hearing disabilities come in, they can't hear anyone.
The art is incredibly bright and vibrant but very niche. I'm not exactly certain what is going on in here, but there's a lot of it, and if that's your scene, you probably know it and love it.
I would order this again on door dash or something just so I don't have to go back inside. The food was delicious if a bit salty.
Expensive.
Not family friendly
No Military discount available.
Edit for the owner: I had an enjoyable meal. The overall vibe is not what I would normally have gone after. Not a thing wrong with it just not my cup of tea. Food was delicious. I just can't hear well and it was a bit frustrating. As I said I'm sure the entire scene is perfect for the target clientele and that's fine I don't need to be included. Keep the loud music and y'all vibe on. As for the discount I'm not worried about it. It's what I want to include in my reviews as some veterans might not want to ask but if they know they will. It can feel like asking for a handout but the reality is many veterans live off only their disability and don't have much income. So saving every penny for them helps. I'll include this information on every review not out of anger that you don't have it but to inform. Y'all don't have to give me anything, nor do I expect it. It's just nice when it is offered and I want folks to know when it...

Stepped into a groovy vibe this weekend at @chebahut_fayetteville for a late lunch, and it was quite the experience! This isn't your average sub shop; welcomed by a 70s psychedelic aesthetic, a full bar, and comfy stools, it's a spot that truly invites you to settle in and savor the moment.
I sipped on a glass of Rosé while perusing their extensive menu. With over 30 subs and another 30 "Secret Menu" options, making a choice was deliciously difficult! 😉
I opted for The KGB, loaded with roast beef, cheese, mushrooms, and a full garden of veggies. The whole wheat bread was a highlight – perfectly crunchy yet soft, with great flavor, and piled high with roast beef. While delicious, my particular sandwich was a tad on the dry side. Sly, on the other hand, went for the Midwest Club with all the fixings and loved it! Lily was an excellent bartender/hostess, she answered all my questions, made recommendations and was all around awesomeness.
With such a vast menu, a great selection of wine, local beer, and cocktails, and that undeniably funky interior, I'm definitely planning a return trip. Next time, I'm eager to explore more of their sandwiches and dive into their garlic bread, all while soaking in the chilled-out atmosphere. 🌱Cheba Hut🌱 Fayetteville? It's a Shore...
Read moreI was there yesterday. I was in line and a manager just started yelling at someone that they weren't allowed there. Mind you, this person wasn't doing anything and he just started yelling unprovoked. They said they were just waiting for their check. And he just kept screaming he was going to call the police. It seemed unprovoked and unhinged. I was close enough to smell the liquor on his breath every time he yelled. I do not recommend going here if you're looking for a relaxed place to eat. The people running it are belligerent and threatening. Regardless of their policy on banning people, that behavior was completely unprofessional, unacceptable, and entirely over the line.
Update: the employee posted screen shots of the conversation. There were no threats. So you're lying. Just like you are lying about them being sober. I heard what I heard and smelled what I smelled. Don't gaslight your customers about your extremely...
