Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Horrible customer service. I used my app to place a delivery order at 11:20. I received an email stating it would be delivered by 11:54. At 12:20, an hour later, I called the store as it says so on the email receipt. Contact Fayetteville for any delivery issues. I explained the above to the associate who answered the call who said “yeah, you’ll have to come get it.” Ma’am, I placed a delivery order bc I have sick kids at home and I paid extra for it. “Well, i don’t know because it’s been sitting here and you’ll have to get with DoorDash or whoever is delivering it.” Ma’am I don’t know who is delivering it that would be for yall to know. Can I speak to the manager for help please. She then starts talking to the manager while on speaker saying “this lady right here thinks we are supposed to help and I told her plain as day to come and get it. I don’t know who she thinks she is but she said she can’t bc she has kids at home sick. Then the manager spoke and said I don’t know what she thinks I’m supposed to do for her, it’s not my issue her kids are sick” then proceeds to answer my call. I immediately said ma’am I just heard the entire rude conversation you both had regarding what is going on and I don’t appreciate it at all. She said “Well, if you place a delivery order then it’s not our problem.” I said I used your app and not DoorDash. The receipt email says to call your store directly. She proceeds to continue mouthing off and I said ma’am my order has sat there for over an hour now, what am I supposed to do? Her answer was come get it. I asked for corporates number and she handed the phone off saying “her take this call and give her corporates number I don’t have time for this” and then hung up. The pure disregard for customer service or even human decency of being kind and understanding as I was only asking when I could expect it bc it was so late and now cold. I would not trust going back to such an establishment that is incapable of speaking to people in a professional manner on such a simple customer service issue. We will...

My mom and I arrived at 7:40pm (20 minutes PRIOR or closing) & it seemed like they were trynna close before 8. They all had the stankest looks on their faces, one young lady was kind and greeted us. As she was taking our order, the person who seems to be the “manager” was standing next to her counting money that maybe looked like her own as she had her purse nearby. The young lady began listing the items that were out of stock, and it was a bit hard to hear her as she had a bit of a lisp + was speaking in a low tone. As my mom asks her to repeat the items, the “manager” then turns to her and gives an annoyed look as if it’s a bother to her. My mom then proceeds to say “I asked her again because I couldn’t hear her” indicating the rude look was unnecessary. She then proceeds to laugh and walk away whilst mumbling something under her breath. She proceeds to the open area toward the kitchen and starts whispering something to the other workers, to where they are all giving us rude looks. She then goes to the back, comes back out on the phone sticking her tounge out stating “her man coming to get her” as if we were supposed to be impressed. Overall we were out of there BEFORE closing time, so the entire rudeness was very uncalled for and unprofessional. Another review I read posted just a couple hours before mine stated they were hung up on as they had a delivery order and was told to “come get it”, and I can see that being the same “manager” women. I really love chicken salad and have passed this location multiple times and decided to give it a try today. I ordered the Fancy Nancy. I also asked if my croissant could be toasted. Was told they could only toast it if I wanted to make it a melt with cheese. I declined that option. Croissants are typically buttery and flaky, this one was cold, like it had been in the refrigerator and chewy. I also asked for salt and pepper packets and was told I had some in the plasticware packet in my bag. I was not even given plastic ware, so no salt or pepper. The chicken salad was bland and only three halved grapes were in my scoop, so literally 1.5 grapes and 4 small apple pieces, and yes I counted with every bite bc I was searching! I'm not sure I would classify their description as correct for this sandwich given the bare minimum of fruit in it. I would rename this the minced pecan chicken salad because that's all that could be tasted for the most part. The complimentary pickle was the star of the meal. I was very disappointed.
