Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Fayetteville

We have been using Maggie Moo’s shop to order our Great American Cookies for years because they are usually better than the one you get at the mall. And it’s far easier to get in and out instead of walking into the mall. But today when I tried to order a cookie to pick up on Saturday I was told that I had to pay over the phone instead of when I pick it up. I’m sorry but I will not give out my credit card information over the phone. I guess we will stop ordering from them and go back to the mall.

We have been ordering cakes from this place for around 8 years and I was only asked once to pre-pay in all this time. And that one time was during the height of COVID a few years ago. And in that instance I came by the store after ordering and paid in advance. I stress again it’s not right to request credit card information over the phone. But we have never been asked to pre-pay at any other time. The mall GAC will allow you to order and pay upon pickup. I called and asked them after I tried to order from here. I tried the on-line option but you can’t order the small round cookie cake. I thought about stopping by to pre-pay but I think we will just stop ordering from Maggie MO’s and go back to the mall. This was the grossest ice cream place I have ever went to. The ice cream was dried on the sides and very dark. The 2 attendants were teenagers and one had a horrible attitude. We ended up leaving before we got our icecream. The extreme unprofessionalism and customer service and poor quality ice cream made our decision to head to Cold Stone Creamery instead!! Btw!! They were awesome!!! The ice cream was to die for!! MaggieMoo’s has been my favorite for years… But yesterday @ 12:30ish just ruined it for my daughter and I while our ice cream has never been so awful. We wasted $11 on this yesterday and I literally had to throw it away. The flavoring and texture of the raspberry sorbet was as if it tasted freezer burn. My favorite has always been the mango which is what I was craving, but there was only a couple tablespoons left in the container and I had asked her if she could get another fresh one and she looked dumbfounded then told me “No!” so I had to settle for the raspberry with disappointment. Then the dark chocolate that has always been amazing was just as awful with some different consistency. The flavors just off.
