Never EVER again! I would give zero stars if I could.
I did an online order for two meals and a total of 3 concretes and 1shake my total was almost $55. My order showed to supposed to be ready at 8:20. When I pulled in I noticed a little league team with their families walked in, there was about 20 people with the group, so I figured that they would be busy with them. I waited until 8:30 to go into the restaurant to pick up my order. I first checked the mobile order station and there were no bags there. After the crowd had thinned out I went up to the counter and waited patiently until an employee asked me if they could help me. I explained to her that I had an online order and was wondering if it was almost done. She went to check and couldn’t find my order, she asked around and no one knew anything about my order. She finally came back to me, apologizes and said that they were making my order and it would be top priority. I sat down at a table and waited for my order again. The entire time she’s checking on my order, a guy is standing at the drivethru taking orders, I’m assuming he was the manager, I don’t know this for sure because he never said he was or wasn’t. After several minutes goes by, another customer came in and ordered food, and received his food within minutes of ordering! I finally caught the attention of the manager, I think, and told him to forget about my order and I just wanted my money back. He said that he couldn’t do that bc I had ordered online! Finally after almost 45 minutes from the time my order was supposed to have been ready I finally got my order. Once I got home, the fries were gross and cold, and I paid almost $8 for a large shake and got a small shake instead. I completely understand being busy but there was no excuse for the customer service or lack of, that I experienced tonight. I will never ever give Freddy’s any of my hard earned...
Read moreI recently had an experience at this location that I feel deserves a review. To start, I completely understand that the fast food industry often relies on younger employees, and I always try to extend patience and grace when orders are incorrect or things don't go as smoothly as expected. However, on 10/13 around 8 pm, I encountered a particularly disappointing experience, which unfortunately isn’t the first time at this location.
When I pulled into the drive-thru, I was asked to wait while the team caught up, which was no problem. I understand how these things work. When it was time to order, I made sure to speak loudly because I knew that Weddington road nearby can make it harder to hear. Despite this, I had to repeat my order three times—a simple order of one concrete and one sundae. By the third time, I was admittedly frustrated and asked, as politely as I could, for the employee to "please follow along".
When I pulled up to the window, a manager came over and informed me that my order would be canceled because I had been "rude" to the employee. He explained that many of the workers are young, and while I respect that, I was surprised by how the situation was handled. It felt like my frustration over the service was being deflected rather than addressed, and the focus shifted away from the issue at hand.
I expressed my disappointment and frustration after being informed that my order was canceled (sorry for the choice of words), as it was surprising to be told my order was being canceled for simply asking for attentiveness. Several orders have gone wrong over the years and have even returned back to the location, but I’ve always extended my understanding in those situations. I felt this situation could have been handled better, and I hope it’s something the team can work on...
Read moreI wonder how many drive thru orders are incorrect from this location and the customer does not come back or does not say anything?
My family gets food at this location often and it is rare that the order is correct. Several times I had just had it after arriving home with yet another incorrect order, and I got back in my car and drove back to this location to get the missing items. They replaced the missing items but the first time all the employee said was “my bad”. Another time I was just told “sorry”. A restaurant has to realize how frustrating it is to have to come back for an order of fries or a missing burger, and not want to do anything more for the customer other than replace the items and get a half hearted apology. Do you not realize that I now am driving back home to eat cold food because you could not check the order for correctness in the first place. There’s no time for the customer to check every single item stacked inside a bag in the drive thru line.
I say this in hopes that this location can get it together because the food is very expensive for fast food but is good.
Tonight I only had a few minutes to get some food and the drive thru line was short and I was only getting one item. I waited almost 20 minutes in line but got what I ordered, but it was COLD. $7.81 for a cold hot dog. I guess the moral of the story is do not expect your drive thru order to be correct at...
