I usually eat at the Grubs uptown. On Friday night, to celebrate acceptance into nursing school and being kid free for the evening, we decided since we wanted to play pool after dinner, why not Dickson St. We arrived (after driving for an hour) at 935pm. We were sat and our waitress approached our table and seemed rushed but took our drink order. We received our coke and sweet tea. She again seemed rushed as she asked if we were ready to order. We had to catch her as she was rushing off just to order our appetizer. She brings us our appetizer and we put in our order. By the time we got our order it was possibly 945pm. As she goes to refill my sweet tea she informs me that they do not have any more sweet tea but I can put sugar in it. That's fine that's doable. At 9:50 p.m. she comes up to us and says do you want to go boxes, are you ready for your check, not to rush you but everyone has to be out of here at 10 p.m. because we have a private party. This made me irate. Had we been informed of this before they took our order we would have went elsewhere. So we hurried up and gobbled up what we could of our food. As 10 approached they turned out the lights and cranked up the already loud music. We usually order a mixed drink after dinner, but we didn't tonight. I noticed four elderly people sitting across from us that had been seated about 9:50 p.m. They were not informed either that they would have to leave at 10 p.m. They had just been served their food 5 minutes prior. They were trying to have conversation when the music was cranked up. To me this is bad business. The customer service was horrible, my sandwich was so disgusting and Soggy that I had to cut it with a knife, and the treatment we got at 10 p.m. was unacceptable. I will not be returning to this place. If I do go to a grubs it'll be to the one that I have never had any problem with. But then people wonder why I travel 2 hours to Oklahoma...
Read moreThe wait for a table for 3 was a little over an hour, which was expected as it was after a football game. We ordered 2 appetizers. One came immediately as another table didnât want it anymore as it came out late for them. We had to flag our server down to get our food order taken. 2 hours later, we received our food. The second appetizer was dropped in the center of the table by our server AFTER we finished our meals at which time she said, âSorry. This just came out.â No apologies, nor any attempt to ask if we still wanted or to take it off the bill. During the 2 hours we waited for our food, 2 other tables to either side of us were seated, ate, and left. The food was good but they really need to consult someone on food & beverage operations as this was one of the most inefficient operations Iâve ever experienced from the host stand being confused when entered to our waiter either not handling our orders correctly and/or kitchenâs inability to prioritize orders to the unapologetic extremely poor wait times and service. Take your chances somewhere else if youâre hungry, or arrive 3 hours prior to the time youâd actually like to eat if you choose...
Read moreI've never been there before. The first drink that was served, the glass was dirty. I asked the bartender what I should get and she recommended the pizza dip and she informed me that it was cream cheese, pepperoni, and melted cheese. I thought that sounds great but she failed to mention that it came with onions and bell peppers. That may not be a big deal for some but I personally don't like either. So I ordered the firecracker burger and they sent me the burger with buffalo sauce instead of the one with the honey habanjero. It truly could not have gone worse. I spent thirty dollars for a meal that I did not eat. I told the manager of my plight and the response was absolutely nothing. If I were you I would not eat there because the service is poor and they don't care about your experience. And this review was for the one in Fort Smith not in Fayetteville, but they didn't have a link for the one...
