This place is pathetic. McDonald's as a whole already is low tier these days, but the grove street location is by far the worst. This lady got a whole attitude with my mother and I because she got our order wrong. A simple mistake over drinks that no one was upset about but her. She argued with us instead of just taking the drinks back, even after I explained that what she gave us belonged to the customer behind us (I heard the order from the first window as I was paying). She finally snatched the drinks from my hand, slammed the window, and stormed off. As if making the other drink was a strenuous task...
Additionally the store is closed half the time when it ought to be open which is really annoying as they're normally the only store open before my mother has to go to work. I honestly wish this place would just be torn down and replaced with something better or just fire the staff. They clearly don't care about the job itself or the people who visit just trying to grab something quick. Read moreI ordered my food through the app which is a simple process and have no problems there. When I got to the window they asked me what I ordered and as I told them they walked away from me while as I was speaking before I could even tell them what I ordered! I was then told to wait at the curb for my food. As I’m writing this it’s been 30 minutes and I see multiple other cars dealing with the same issue. I’d say there’s about 8 cars waiting right now. EIGHT?! This is insane. Another worker (not the same one from the window) came up asking what I ordered, and once again, as I was speaking to her she shook her head and rolled her eyes as I was speaking… and walked away from me and proceeded to do the same to the other cars. Read moreI waited in the drive thru over an hour. I’m a door dash driver, I called once I got in line asking if they could hand it to me up front or if I needed to wait. They told me to wait, understandable I guess. They stated they were working on it now.
An hour later almost and I finally get to the window. Then line barely moved over the hour. I saw the employees all inside in a huddle laughing and talking. Not working. And when they let me sit for another 10 mins they finally asked me what the order number was only to tell me it’s not ready. They started it an hour prior supposedly. It was 2 sandwiches and a premade desert… ridiculous.
Update: they let me sit infront of the store for 15 more mins. Forgot I was there. Forgot to start the order. Then ran out to ask the number and to start it. So almost an hour and a half to wait. I was hoping to be off work an hour early. I scheduled myself to stop working...
