Please give this place a chance and I assure you it will be your go to for Italian cuisine. The food is luscious. I asked for their recommendations and they had a variety of customer favorites. I got the hamburger steak because a customer assured me it was the best. It was around $14 but it was well worth the price. The actual paty itself was the size of at least 4 hamburgers and it was topped with onions and gravy and came with 2 sides. I went with the Baked potato and Coleslaw. I topped my steak with the slaw I got as the side and went to town. It was the most enjoyable food I've paid for in a long time 😂. I also got "The Greek" individual sized pie. It's was a delectable delight, and reminded me of eating pizza back home in sunset park because of the bready crust it was so crisp and on point. I only wish I had more money to try more stuff on their menu and more space in my belly to fit it. But the service was great. I took my food to go but I could tell their wait staff was very attentive and stayed busy. My food took about 10 minutes but all good things take time. This is a place worth waiting or if your one of those people that's used to drive thru speeds call 15-20 min ahead but you really have to try this one out. On a side note I write allot of reviews and try allot of places out and even tho I am a food enthusiest, I'm also a chef so I don't really go back to allot of places but this is one of those that I'm keeping in my heart. That being...
Read moreBeen wanting to go here for the longest but finally got around to it and happy we did! First time visiting, we visited on a Tues around 6. Was crowded but we were greeted upon entering and we were directed to pick our own seats. We were attended to pretty fast. The place has a grandmas house vibe, not my vibe but the food was delicious, service was fast and the price was reasonable, less than 40 without tip. They don't have military discount.
I got the spaghetti and chicken parm ... the spaghetti was sooo good! My chicken parm was slightly overcooked but the flavor and seasoning of the chicken & peppers was good. I also had a slice of bread that was good too. I tasted my husband's calzone, he loved it and it was huge, I liked the bread and cheese when you got closer to finishing a slice but all the flavors stuffed inside didn't do it for me, but then again I'm not a big fan of ham unless it's honey baked but yeah.
The portion sizes were also good. The tea wasn't sweet enough for me, the flavor of the tea was a bit too prevalent. They also have a decent amount of parking, I'd probably recommend parking in back if it's raining though (depending on how you feel about your car& mid) because I'm sure that dirt lot gets muddy but overall I would recommend and I...
Read moreThis is one of those places that under promises and over delivers. We got a sub and a spaghetti but not just any spaghetti. This was the Spaghetti Deluxe. 😋 😋 I NEVER order spaghetti in a restaurant but from the description I felt like it was a safe bet. This was a very generous portion and had large meatballs, large slices of sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and even large sliced pepperoni, plus plenty of delicious marinara sauce all topped with a generous portion of mozzarella cheese. It was heaped up on a large plate and served with 2 slices of garlic bread. Now you should know I'm a big eater but I could NOT finish that whole plate. My wife's sub was pretty big and just stuffed with meat, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and topped with Italian dressing & mayo. She chose not to get a side but she is a light eater. Of course she only ate half. With any luck I'll get the other half. 😆 This place will be one of our "go to" places when family comes into town. They have lots of Italian dishes but lots of other choices for picky eaters too. Pizzas, burgers, chicken, calzones, appetizers, drinks include,...
