I was so excited to try this place. Ive seen so much advertising and so many people happy about sharetea! Unfortunately I cant say my visit was that. When I walked in, I was greeted with "hello - sorry but we dont have boba, a family was here and used it all" it was end of day and i can see how that may happen. But it didnt seem like it was a heads up out of helpfulness, it was more so she didnt want to work. The place was empty and it was 7:50. Still 40 minutes before closing time. I proceeded to say it was fine and she seemed a little irritated that I was going to order a drink. The drink itself was okay, not that great and I've definitely had better Thai tea. I used to rate this place 5 stars, but had to redo my review after the last time my husband and I stopped here for drinks. The lady running the counter was absent for several minutes, until she came through the front door carrying a handful of cash. She set the cash down, took our order, and immediately started handling food/cups. She did not wash her hands or sanitize at any point between setting the money down and making our order. When she grabbed the cup from the stack behind the counter, her unwashed hand was halfway inside the cup. I told her to cancel our order and we left. My daughter and her friends are all OBSESSSSSSSED with this place! We have tried other boba shops and they are not as good. The part that makes it worth the drive across town for mw is that the ladies who work there, are they baristas? The baristas (I'm calling them that-) are so sweet. We have never once had a negative experience, even if the kids need to taste something or take a little while to order, they are so patient or willing to help them.
