Waffle House — Restaurant in Fayetteville

this was by far the worst experience i’ve ever experienced at this location. i placed an order online for pickup. 12:49AM & it was estimated to be ready by 1:04AM. i waited & waited outside for order & finally sent in a friend to pickup my order, he proceeded out the establishment & told me that the order was ready & we waited again considering that it was late at night & very busy, understandable cool. about 15 minutes later, my friend went back inside to check on the status & the server told us the order hasn’t even been started & to wait another 20-30 minutes. okay, im getting a little antsy but i will wait. finally time has passed & I, myself, go inside to get the order. the server then says “oh someone picked up your order.” i proceed to say that cant be right considering i’ve been outside for about 1hr & half waiting. Me & all the servers are going back & forth about the order because there is just no way. i asked for a manager & they stated they didn’t have one. i asked for a refund they said i would have to call the number but they didnt know what number to call. long story short they gave me the run around. im still not satisfied & forgetting to mention there was a roach crawling on...

Great food, great service, horrible sanitization.

My husband and I went 12/25 and expected it to be full and a long wait but to our surprise, we were seated, attended quickly, and served quickly. Food was just as good. Only thing that bothered me was watching employees handle food and use their phones right next to the grill. Some would touch their face for clothes, then touch their phone, and theb go back to cooking or serving. One employee a thing Caucasian female with orange hair was by the drink station. I watched her pull her mask down, pull a slice of lemon out of her mouth, touch her phone, and then served the guests. I was horrified. I don't mind seeing people on their phones, but I hate that they handle their phones and don't wash their hands after. Please. For the love of all man kind, teach your employees about cleanliness. Remind them to at least use their phones in the back of the kitchen not in front of customers. Once again, loved the food and service but repulsed by the lack of good...

We usually have pretty good service here. However tonight was absolutely horrible. Charlene was our waitress and from the beginning she was pushy. We hadn’t even been handed menus when she barked at us for our drink orders. Then while we looked over our menus she proceeds to yell from across the restaurant if we were ready to order. Once we ordered and our food was being done it was brought to us plate by plate. My daughter received her waffle it was thrown at her without silverware or syrup. When we asked for it we were told they were busy and were getting it. There were 3 other tables with people in the restaurant. If Charlene and the other waitress are unable to service 3 tables and maintain customer service then maybe they need to find another profession. The cooks were excellent. They brought food that was forgotten and apologized for the wait and the service. Sadly Charlene never found it necessary...
