I was introduced to my favorite local spot in Federal Way by a good friend of mine.
Best Korean fried chicken when you want both the original and spicy sauced versions. They also have their small dishes which is delicious, plus their choice of alcoholic beverages. Prices on liquor here is affordable, while you have your Japanese beer, soju(Korean rice wine) in many different flavors.
Service is upbeat and fun to chat with. I've been coming here for years and it's just got a comfortable home vibe that is welcoming, and the bartenders make you feel like family.
I don't have pictures, but if you are trying it for first time I would recommend ordering the half & half chicken so you can try regular and spicy Korean chicken. Also order a few different flavors of flavored soju to try as a little fun for a small group or a date. Its not enough to get you drunk and taste almost like a soda.
They have some tvs for watching kpop videos, and then sports and news on the other by the bar. Also their specials are on a board in the far right corner when ou walk in...
Read moreI wish I had taken photos but I had to dig right into the wings after they arrived at our table! All the versions of the wings and drumettes are delicious, but I have to highly recommend the sauced versions! The plain with garlic is certainly a nice treat with the great fry job they get, but nothing beats that sticky sweet and spicy sauce! 💓 I'd also recommend the tteokbokki, and the other appetizers like the potstickers and cheesy corn. The happy hour is also pretty long and late so it's a great deal!
The servers are always very friendly and polite, always willing to help out with questions or recommendations. The inside of the restaurant is nicely lit to make it feel more intimate at your own table but not too dark overall. They have K-pop playing over the speakers and on the TV and it's great! Very welcoming and a great place to hang out...
Read moreCHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY! My wife and I come here once a month. Last time we were here we noticed the server had already tipped himself. When I brought it to his attention he looked at me and said “ your wife comes here every month and she said it’s okay to tip. “ I was shocked to hear his response. I looked at him and said “ even if my wife comes here every month you still need to wait until the customer tips you! Don’t just add it to bill. Do you have proof that states she agreed to putting $30 on the bill as tip everytime she comes here? “ he looked at me as if I was stupid and kept insisting my wife agreed. When I asked my wife about it in front of him she said she never agreed to anything. SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL before you pay! Now im thinking have they been tipping themselves every time we come...
