Usually I ignore the lack luster morning crew personalities because, hey, it is morning and they are at work. Nobody is super jolly about that. However, today I ordered a meal that was by far the worst food I have ever received from a drive thru. The hashbrown was not only cold but tasted old. Like if you made a baked potato last night and then left it out, put it under a heat lamp at noon and had it for an afternoon snack of botulism.
The sandwich was filled with egg that was the temperature of the cooler from the BP down the street. The bagel was not warm and when I said everything bagel, i wasn’t aware that meant fuzzy mold.
When I took it back, the manager could not have cared less to know they were serving food that could make people sick. As I tried to explain that my meal was horrible and handed him the bag to see, he cut me off and just wanted to give me a refund.
So, I guess go here for breakfast if you want penicillin bc the bagel’s mold will suffice.
I would never write a review for lukewarm food or a grumpy Gus in the window but this was wild. Like I said, I can get over things bc I don’t want a gourmet meal when I hit up a Timmy’s. However, as a food service worker, I was mortified that this would ever be served to the public.
Guess I have to find a new place to get my crappy...
Read moreThe food and donuts were fine. The service was not good. I feel bad for the employees since it seems they have not received adequate training. The person who took our order had a difficult time entering everything in. We ordered things directly from the menu with no special instructions, so I didn't think we were making it difficult. She asked another employee for help, but she seemed unsure as well and did not offer much guidance. In the end, they told us they added 2 extra donuts by mistake and asked if I wanted the extra donuts. I agreed to take the extra donuts since I had already paid for them and a refund was not presented as an option. They were also apparently out of several items, including croissants, which is odd for a place that primarily makes sandwiches. If they were busy and overwhelmed, this experience may be justified, but we were the only people in the dining room at lunch time on a Thursday. There were 3 employees working and there were a few drive-through customers but the line wasn't wrapped around the building or anything. Again, I don't blame the employees it seems poor training, poor supervision, and poor management is to blame here. Based on other reviews, it seems this is a pattern and I now understand why it wasn't busy...
Read moreI quit going to this location for over a year because when I inquired about the sour taste an employee explained that's because they don't clean out their iced cappuccino machine! She said that the mix sours but they don't want to loose money. She told me not to buy them! I was told recently that this Tim Hortons has been really good. However I ordered 2 Iced Cappuccinos and they both tasted sour this morning! Yuck! Spoiled mix! I also ordered a bacon everything bagel. The sign says 6 strips of bacon and they only put three on. So of course I asked about it, and the rude employees just look at each other and come up with, "Well you know. We did put 6 strips on there. We take 3 strips of bacon and cut them in 1/2 and put them on. So that's a total of 6." Really? I don't think so. They didn't cut the 3 strips at all. I looked. And of course it looks nothing like the picture on the sign that says 6 strips! I will continue to take my business elsewhere. We have other coffee places to go to in Fenton, and I know they don't practice false advertising, and they also don't sell...
