Subway — Restaurant in Fernandina Beach

After placing my order I noticed I made a mistake on the choice of bread so I asked the owner if he was willing to let me switch it me, that I was willing to pay for the new sub roll and he told me he wasn’t allowed. I explained I didn’t mind paying for it and he told me no so I told him I’d never be back to his shop. He got offended and started running his mouth. Very rude disrespectful man, how you gonna run a business but not be willing to work with your customers if they make a mistake placing an order and are EVEN willing to pay for the mistake you made… This guy is a joke. Go back to daycare to learn basic manners in life. If someone tells you they no longer wanna come back to your shop due to the way you spoke to them OVER bread then you should understand...

The lady dropped my meat for my sandwich on the counter and proceeded to pick it up and place it on my sandwich. When asked to provide me w/new meat a bread I was immediately thrown out a said my service was no longer wanted. This isn’t the first time I have been to this establishment an witnessed cross-contamination. The lady who wears the green bangles on her wrist never washes her hands before putting on gloves. Nor does she wash her hands after removing the gloves to take money at the register an putting on a new set of gloves. Wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you want...

I was here at 2pm on saturday september 7th, 2019. When we came in the only girl working wiped her nose with an ungloved hand and didnt wash her hands after. She then preceded to put gloves on and make my sandwhich. During which she continued to wipe her nose on her wrist. I was pretty disgusted but I was in a hurry. She never once washed her hands after wiping her nose which goes against food saftey protocals. I really hope they have a conversation with her. Other than that the bread was fresh the lettuce looked a little on the brown side. But overall the food...
