I had the pleasure of dining here the other day. It was a Saturday evening and not very busy. The atmosphere was quiet yet inviting. The only way you know it’s above a bingo hall is because you have to walk through it to get to the restaurant. The decor amazingly displays the Native Heritage of the Puyallup Tribe. You can tell they really thought about the quality of your experience down to the glasses and silverware.
When we arrived, we were greeted by smiling faces and the hostess offered to check our coats. Reservations were made so the menus were waiting at the table. (I don’t think reservations are a requirement just yet.) Shortly after we seated, we were immediately greeted by Levi our server. I like to note we were offered a variety of fresh fruit to infuse our water which was a fun twist to the boring water you usually get. The service provided by Levi was exceptional throughout the whole night. words can express how great the service was. To include the chef. I would like to note that gratuity is added on your check so you don’t have to worry about tipping you just pay and leave. However, the service was so great we added an extra tip.
We ordered wine, non alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, a salad, two entrées, And two desserts. Complementary bread was also provided. For the appetizer, we ordered the beef short rib, which was delectable and the polenta cakes were crispy yet soft it was a 10/10 for me. The stacked salad had a great flavor 9/10. For entrées, we had the bison and the filet Mignon. The bison was tender and delicious, polenta was flavorful and creamy. 10/10 The filet mignon had a great crust and excellent flavor. The carrots were a bit too crispy for my liking but over all a really good dish. 9/10. For the dessert, we got the peanut cake to go and we enjoyed the winter flight at the end of our meal. The winter flight had a crème brûlée that was to die for. I almost wish that they had the crème brûlée by itself. 10/10. It was that good. The cakes were just as delicious.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves at Ms.Jane’s Fine Dining from start to finish. You can really tell that they take pride in cultivating a culture of love for the food and the service they provide to you while showcasing the native heritage of the Puyallup Tribe. I almost forgot to mention the duck hors d’oeuvre. That dish was really the star of the...
Read moreWe are so thankful for the recent addition of this unpretentious fine dining experience offered at Ms. Janes. Located upstairs in BJ's Bingo & Gaming, the decor and scale is similar to an upscale Vegas style restaurant, but with a Native American theme. We found attention to detail at every turn from the furnishings, to the the menu, the service, and especially the food. We came for dinner on a Thursday night and appreciated the relaxing, quiet atmosphere that made conversation easy. The menu is diverse and is assured to please everyone with unique offerings such as Picanha steak, Foie Gras, and Braised Bison, but also includes more simple entree's entree's like Josper cooked Salmon, and Cheese Burgers. Chef Josh's classic French training shows in the artistry of his plating presentations and overall quality of the dish. We started with Calamari that was done perfectly, shortly followed by a complimentary amuse-bouche of clam fritter. I choose the Filet Mignon Oscar style that melted in my mouth, accompanied by 1000 layer potatoes topped with young carrots. My wife had the Pistachio crusted Lamb Chops done perfectly accompanied by Duchess Potatoes, and tender asparagus spears. Desert offerings are house made and sure to please every sweet tooth. We are so thankful for the recent addition of this unpretentious experience offered at Ms. Janes. Please support this fine dining restaurant and treat yourself and guests to a memorable experience for all...

I was particularly impressed by the Rib eye. It was a symphony of earthy, savory, and subtly sweet juicy flavors —that lingered long after the last bite.
Desserts here are equally mesmerizing. They are a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth: The desserts are rich and velvety. Beautifully plated and perfectly portioned.
