Sunny's Donuts — Restaurant in Fife

Solid little donut place in Fife. Best selection and freshness first thing in the morning. The later you go, the less options are available. Today stopped by at about 1045am. Got the last 2 round cinnamon twists.

Donuts are not overly sweet, some of the local competitors go super sweet. These are nice raised donuts.

Raspberry filled have lots of filling. They also have apple filled and filled bearclaws.

Chocolate bars are good, plenty of chocolate. Not too sweet.

Round cinnamon twists last longer than the straight twists so we get those. Nice cinnamon flavor.

Shop owners are very friendly. Occassionally, they throw in an extra donut or two. Today he threw in an extra raspberry filled. Score!

Half dozen comes to $7.35. There is a minimum order to pay with card, so dont come in expecting to buy one donut and pay with card. There is also a .35 charge to pay with card.

There are a handful of bottled drinks for sale. Milk, water, etc. There were italian sodas...

Came for my first and it will be my last. Stopped by to grab some donuts for some coffee since it was a cold morning and my husband asked me to look at the reviews after already buying them. The first reviewer mentioned about ant's in her donut box I kept scrolling down and unfortunately it wasn't the only one with the same experience. So I had to wait to get home and take a look through them I did not find ant's but I did find a piece of hair. Also once I got there it was past 4 am there sign does say they do open at 4 am. the lady saw us outside she was on her phone eating and took forever to open the door and kept walking back and forth. Once she opened the door she did not greet us or anything she just kept talking on her phone and walked back behind the counter. I tried them for the first time last Friday. I'm the Office Manager at a shipyard in the Port of Tacoma and my boys get Donuts and OJ every Friday. Just cuz we love them and a full stomach is what a shipyard runs on.

Previously...I was hitting up Safeway for them every week. I had to call the night before. Wake up early...get off the freeway and drive into Federal Way to pick 'em up. It took extra time...and I often forgot...which led me to sometimes getting muffins at Costco.

Not anymore! They were so happy with the new donuts...different flavors and types. We won't be going anywhere else any more.
